What is the first book you remember reading as a child?
Como en otras ocasiones ya lo he mencionado, el primer libro que, según mi mamá yo leía mucho hasta el punto de aprendermelo de memoria, era el cuento de Caperucita roja, recuerdo que de pequeña mi mamá me contaba que, como ella notaba que eran tantas mis ganas por leer, que un día mi tía me llevo a comprar este cuento a un quiosco cerca de su casa. Así que además de ser mi cuento favorito, también tiene un significado y un valor sentimental muy especial por ser un lindo regalo de mi tía que ya no está, y recordar este cuento de alguna forma me hace recordarla a ella también, junto a todos los momentos que viví en mi infancia. Ya varios años después investigue que es un cuento original de Charles Perrault y más tarde por los hermanos Grimm.
As I have already mentioned in other occasions, the first book that, according to my mom I read a lot to the point of learning it by heart, was the story of Little Red Riding Hood, I remember that when I was a little girl my mom told me that, as she noticed that I wanted to read so much that one day my aunt took me to buy this story at a kiosk near her house. So besides being my favorite story, it also has a very special meaning and sentimental value for being a nice gift from my aunt who is no longer here, and remembering this story somehow makes me remember her too, along with all the moments I lived in my childhood. Several years later I researched that it is an original tale by Charles Perrault and later by the Brothers Grimm.

Yo considero que el mejor momento para leer es cuando realmente queremos hacerlo y no por obligación. Preferiblemente a mi me gusta hacerlo a media tarde, trato de hacerme un espacio en ese momento y dedicarle aunque sea unos minutos a leer una buena historia, que además me ayuda mucho a desestresarme o distraerme cuando me encuentro sin nada que hacer.
I consider that the best time to read is when we really want to do it and not out of obligation. Preferably I like to do it in the middle of the afternoon, I try to make a space for myself at that time and dedicate at least a few minutes to read a good story, which also helps me a lot to de-stress or distract me when I find myself with nothing to do.
¿En qué formato prefieres leer: digital, papel o ambos?

Yo diría que ambos, porque aún disfruto leer un buen libro y disfrutar de sus letras impresas pasando las páginas, sintiendo ese aroma especial sin importar si es nuevo o viejo, es una sensación rara que creo que sienten los que disfrutan una buena lectura, esos amantes de una buena historia literaria, curiosos por descubrir ese mundo tan interesante que los libros tienen para ofrecernos. Por otro lado también me gusta mucho leer un libro desde la computadora o desde mi teléfono, tener esa facilidad de acceder a leer el libro que me gusta, que quizás no tenga para adquirir uno físicamente, pero gracias a la tecnología lo puedo hacer desde la comodidad de mi celular.
I would say both, because I still enjoy reading a good book and enjoying its printed letters turning the pages, feeling that special aroma no matter if it is new or old, it is a rare sensation that I think those who enjoy a good reading feel, those lovers of a good literary story, curious to discover that interesting world that books have to offer us. On the other hand I also like to read a book from the computer or from my phone, to have that ease of access to read the book I like, that maybe I don't have to buy one physically, but thanks to technology I can do it from the comfort of my cell phone.

What distracts you the most when you read?
Al igual que al estudiar, cuando leo me distrae mucho algún ruido que escuche cerca, como la música o el televisor encendido, pienso que cuando dedicamos un momento para leer debemos asegurarnos de estar en un lugar tranquilo y en silencio, porque así nos concentramos más y disfrutamos mucho mejor la lectura.
I think that when we dedicate a moment to reading, we should make sure we are in a quiet and calm place, because this way we can concentrate more and enjoy reading much better.

El género de fantasía o de ficción me gustan mucho, aunque nada de lo que vaya a leer se que es real, me llama mucho la atención conocer ese tipo de historias, todo ese mundo sobrenatural, paranormal o de fantasía me interesa y hace que me anime a leer un rato. Las novelas románticas también me encantan y desde mi teléfono he podido leerme varias, las historias narrativas también me parecen muy interesantes sobre todo si hay un poco de incertidumbre y suspenso a medida que leo, eso me atrapa mucho a tal punto de sentir y meterme en el papel de los personajes viviendo e imaginando cada cosa que les sucede como si lo estuviera mirando en vídeo.
The fantasy or fiction genre I like a lot, although nothing of what I'm going to read I know it's real, it calls my attention to know that kind of stories, all that supernatural, paranormal or fantasy world interests me and makes me want to read for a while. I also love romance novels and from my phone I have been able to read several, narrative stories also seem very interesting to me especially if there is a bit of uncertainty and suspense as I read, that catches me a lot to the point of feeling and getting into the role of the characters living and imagining everything that happens to them as if I were watching it on video.
Espero les haya gustado y si desean se pueden animar a responder éstas 5 preguntas sobre libros y el maravilloso mundo de la lectura, una actividad que no deberíamos de abandonar aunque estemos rodeados de la tecnología digital, y aunque no sea leyendo libros en físico, por lo menos aprovechar esa tecnología para buscar uno y leerlo desde la comodidad de nuestros aparatos electrónicos, que la excusa no quede ahí. Con esta iniciativa recordé una frase muy bonita para reflexionar que dice: "la lectura es a la mente, lo que el ejercicio al cuerpo" de Joseph Addison.
I hope you liked it and if you want you can be encouraged to answer these 5 questions about books and the wonderful world of reading, an activity that we should not abandon even if we are surrounded by digital technology, and even if it is not reading physical books, at least take advantage of that technology to find one and read it from the comfort of our electronic devices, that the excuse does not stay there.
