Tu ibérico ceseo, cabello bermejizo
tornáronse en anhelo que al alma la desboca.
Mis ojos no abandonan tus labios y tu boca
que dulce va expulsando palabras cual hechizo.Y más me va ofuscando tu tono tan castizo,
que no puedo callar el fuego que sofoca.
Confieso así el capricho: besarte me provoca,
en tanto tú me evades de modo escurridizo.Más no es la rendición un rasgo en mis resabios
y menos cuando priva tan drástico embeleso.
Paciencia y persistencia: mandato de los sabios.Tu firme negación vacila y pierde peso
y en gesto complaciente el dulce de tus labios
me trae de nuevo paz con el ansiado beso.
Caprice
Your Iberian ceseo1, your reddish hair
turned into a longing that makes the soul run wild.
My eyes do not leave your lips and your mouth
that sweetly expels words like a spell.And the more I'm obfuscating your so traditional tone,
that I cannot silence the fire that suffocates.
I thus confess the caprice: kissing you provokes me,
while you evade me in a slippery way.But surrender is not a trait in my habits
and even less so when such drastic enchantment prevails.
Patience and persistence: mandate of the wise.Your firm denial wavers and loses weight
and in complacent gesture the sweetness of your lips

Este nuevo poema da continuidad a la serie de sonetos de versos alejandrinos, dentro de la más clásica estructura en español, que he venido desarrollando y que pasará eventualmente a formar parte del libro digital que se encuentra en proceso creativo Son estos sonetos honestos.
La traducción al inglés no tiene fines literarios sino de facilitar la comprensión a aquelos angloparlantes que disfrutan de la literatura en español.
This new poem gives continuity to the series of sonnets of alexandrine verse, within the most classic structure in Spanish, that I have been developing and that will eventually become part of the digital book that is in the creative process Son estos sonetos honestos.
The English translation is not for literary purposes but to facilitate understanding for those English speakers who enjoy literature in Spanish.
