I am really thrilled to share my submission for the Shadow Hunter contest round 260. This photograph was taken during my visit to Chowrasta Market in Pulau Pinang. I went there around 2 months back.
Chowrasta Market is well known among locals and tourists alike. You can find multiple small stalls selling street food and souvenirs throughout the whole stretch of the market.
What is the history of Chowrasta Market?
In 1890, the George Town Municipal Council built the single-storey Chowrasta Market. It was eventually replaced with the present Chowrasta Market in the 1960s (Source Link)
