Engaging Light
Reflection off the evening star so bright as the sun drops from the sky, how long has that reflection above taken to reach our world?
Growing up we love puddles to stomp through, witness ripples or reflections, day-dream about how it came into being, these mirrors of light off water never cease to amaze even when grown up.
Dark shadows looming chase us indoors....
Glint of reflection off the bow, shadow of young boy and dog enjoying the water trickling past, what thoughts go through ones mind enjoying moments such as these!
On a stretch of beach with glistening water all around, clouds throwing shadows down below, and man's constant companion the shadow in his wake.
Are shadows dark reminders of being frightened, while reflections bring light to uplift the spirits allowing us time to let troubles wash quietly away?
