SMASh/Shadow Hunters Contest-Round 187. Entry for the Shadow Contest/SMASh

1.jpg

City streets. Beautiful shadow from wild grapes on a forged fence.
You can, of course, pass by, or you can pay attention to the shadow.
For a photographer, such objects will always be found in the city.

2.jpg

Two in one at once - the Shadow and the Reflection of the US coin.
A good example of a shadow for the competition came out today.
Theme - Magnifier, coin, shadow and reflection on a sunny morning.

3.jpg

And here the continuation of the theme is shadow and reflection.
Although in the photo there is an inverted shadow on the mirror.
The stream of light from the window and flowers on the windowsill.

4.jpg

Objects and shadow - glasses on the table as an example of a search.
Some new topic for the competition to show the possibilities in work.
Everything is simple and concise, but the theme itself is preserved.

5.jpg

Shadows of cans and bottles on the windowsill behind the blinds.
Daylight from the sun projects these items well onto the blinds.
It turns out to be a good option for the Shadow Hunters contest.

6.jpg

This is a man's ring and a shadow from it on the plane of the table.
What is important is how the shadow of the ring lies on the plane.
And what a twist the ring has to see the beauty of the shadow.

7.jpg

Life in the countryside outside the city and an example of shadows.
Night shadows on the wall from the moonlight that I saw at midnight.
I decided that these shadows should be urgently photographed.

8.jpg

And this is a staircase, like an emergency fire exit from the building.
At noon, we got an interesting shadow on the wall of this building.
I walked by, saw and immediately photographed for the competition.

9.jpg

Early morning, sunrise. The shadow from the stream of sunlight.
The shadow that fell on the blinds of the window at this time.
It so happens that shadows can be seen everywhere around us.

SHADOWS AND WE. SHADOWS IN THE WORLD AROUND US.

As we all know, shadows can be seen (or found) everywhere in the world around us. Shadows are formed both day and night. Sometimes shadows very brightly emphasize a subject or complement something in nature. As an example, it could be a landscape. In painting and photography, shadows play a large role in bringing contrast to a portrait, still life or landscape. We also perceive contrast in order to reveal some object on a plane or in nature. In his work, the photographer either simply sees shadows and photographs them, or uses shadows to enhance the photograph. Any composition in photography will look good if you apply either the law of contrast and perspective, or supplement the photo with shadows. Both that, and another - very well helps the photographer in the development of his creativity in any genre of photography. So, the shadows are already like a kind of basis in the work of a photographer. In our life and work, we just often do not notice how shadows can influence the art of photography. And so the competition gives us such an opportunity - to see what we have not noticed before. Each of us, participating in the Shadow Hunters competition, gradually began to pay more attention to the Shadows. Who and what thinks about this?
