Sin duda pasear por las Ciudades Europeas es todo un lujo de detalles, unas más que otras tienen entre sus centros históricos verdaderas obras de arte aún haciendo el disfrute y dejando perplejos a los visitantes que las ven por primera vez.
There is no doubt that strolling through European cities is a luxury of details, some of them more than others have among their historic centres true works of art that still delight and perplex visitors who see them for the first time.
Ese es el caso de la ciudad que os comento hoy, Cádiz.

Cádiz es como un capricho, una ciudad muy pequeña por su forma geográfica, una península que no puede crecer pero que gracias a esta forma, ha podido conservar mucho en las guerras por su difícil acceso.
Cadiz is like a caprice, a very small city because of its geographical shape, a peninsula that cannot grow but thanks to this shape, it has been able to preserve a lot in the wars because of its difficult access.
Poder disfrutar de Cádiz es pasear por el casco antiguo, disfrutar de su gastronomía y tener el placer de visitar su historia.
To enjoy Cádiz is to stroll through the old town, enjoy its gastronomy and have the pleasure of visiting its history.
Hay que tener en cuenta que Cádiz, fue una de las Ciudades Europeas más importantes que hubo en siglos pasados pero desde luego para España Cádiz significó un antes y un después.

Hoy os quiero mostrar la fortaleza que rodea la Ciudad, hoy día perfectamente conservada y que es el deleite de visitantes y viajeros que realizan sus visitas con guías para poder informarte de la importancia de lo que están visitando y el suelo que pisan. Sin duda es la mejor forma de visitar la Ciudad ya que aún sabiendo de la antigüedad del entorno, pasas inadvertidos muchos detalles y edificaciones si no tienes la oportunidad de que un entendido te informe.
Today I would like to show you the fortress that surrounds the city, today perfectly preserved and which is the delight of visitors and travellers who make their visits with guides to be able to inform you of the importance of what they are visiting and the ground they are treading on. It is undoubtedly the best way to visit the city, as even knowing the antiquity of the surroundings, many details and buildings go unnoticed if you do not have the opportunity to be informed by a knowledgeable person.
Hoy os quiero mostrar algunos de los muchos detalles que se pueden ver en un paseo de una mañana por la capital.

Uno sin duda de los que más han llamado mi atención es el Arco que pertenece a la muralla Medieval de la ciudad y que data de 1.200 y se mandó reforzar posteriormente.
One of the most striking is the arch that belongs to the medieval city wall, which dates back to 1200 and was later reinforced.
Pasear por el suelo medieval original y saber que aún hoy día sigue siendo lugar de transito sin tener ningún vallado ni separación, te hace ver la importancia de la técnica y el material.
Walking along the original medieval ground and knowing that even today it is still a place of transit without any fencing or separation, makes you realise the importance of the technique and the material.
Entre casas del siglo XIX encontramos estructuras de madera que aunque parezcan imposibles, aún siguen en pie y en funcionamiento.

Calles céntricas señoriales, con los escudos familiares en la entrada. Algo que te hace hablar perfectamente de la ciudadanía que ha residido entre sus aguas. En el caso de la de la imagen, esta en reciente proceso de renovación y será edificio protegido.
Stately central streets, with family coats of arms at the entrance. Something that makes you speak perfectly of the citizens who have resided among its waters. In the case of the one in the image, it is in the process of recent renovation and will be a protected building.
En definitiva considero que pasear por esta preciosa e histórica ciudad es un privilegio hoy día.
Recordar que esto se puede realizar gracias al esfuerzo del interés por conservar el patrimonio histórico y que la conservación y el cuidado, es la máxima prioridad.
In short, I consider that walking through this beautiful and historic city is a privilege nowadays.
Remember that this can be done thanks to the effort of the interest in preserving the historical heritage and that conservation and care is the top priority.
