Welcome to the month of June and how are you all architecture-design friends and friends of the world of hivers, I hope you the are always healthy there.

I'm @deltasteem from aceh, the province of Indonesia, my daily activities are as usual, namely as an architectural-furniture design worker at a furniture cv located in aceh.

Recently I just finished a simple minimalist table furniture architectural project with a combination of 3 natural wood colors so as to produce a table sheet with a very attractive color combination and looks very unique.

This is a table project made from jackfruit wood and this is the second jackfruit wood table project this year.

So, last January I finished a classic jackfruit table sheet project made from old jackfruit with various sizes and the largest size of the jackfruit wood sheet is 80x160cm and in this month I just finished this color combination design table project, which is amazing and different from the previous the desk project.

Jackfruit wood is one of the best types of wood for table materials and large jackfruit sticks, the wood has an attractive fiber shape with a fairly unique color pattern and the fibers of the wood are in opposite directions, so the process is really complicated and In the process, the first stage I used a sharpener machine to flatten the top and bottom of the table sheet and for the second stage I used a mini planer machine to smooth all parts of the table sheet.

In working on the first desk project in January last year, I just took a few pictures and here you can see the beauty and uniqueness of old jackfruit when it is made into a classic table sheet.

This is a cafe table sheet project and my task in this project is to just flatten the entire surface of the wood until it is completely smooth and for finishing is done by the owner of the wood.

In this June, after a few weeks I finished making an architecture- my baby bed furniture from wood waste with a simple design.my baby bed

After 2 weeks, I again got a table furniture architectural project with my own design idea, which is a modern minimalist design that I combine several natural wood colors so that everything looks beautiful and luxurious.

This is the architectural dining table furniture belonging to the residents of the area where I live and they bring raw wood blocks, they also only pay for my labor services and the basic material for the table is young jackfruit wood and I designed the table in 3 attractive color combinations and it can be said that this is a type of modern minimalist table.

IMG_20210507_153442-01.jpeg

logo-3.png

The process of making the table is very complicated and here I will also share the process of how I made this table in several small articles which I have completed with pictures so that you can easily understand it.

IMG_20210418_114342.jpg

logo-3.png

The basic material of this table is 2 blocks of jackfruit wood with a size of 40x165cm and 30x165cm with a thickness of 8cm and after the planting and fireplace process, I divided 1 piece of wood measuring 40cm into two different sizes so the result is like this and This is a type of young jackfruit wood and the basic colors of this wood are yellow and white.

After I finished splitting the wood, then here I took some brown pine wood and the brown pine wood (lis) I will combine with the jackfruit wood so that the table sheet will provide an attractive color blend, for the process of adjusting the layout of the trim you can see in the picture.

logo-3.png

IMG_20210418_120611.jpg

logo-3.png

After I compiled the 3 trim layouts, I finally got the right trim layout to produce an interesting color combination, namely in a 3:2 scale with additional trim in the form of a 1x1.5 cm line.

Then I continued with the gluing process in the first stage, namely with a 2:3 scale and after I glued all the wood parts, then I glued it with small wood so that the glue could work well on each wood connection, so you can understand it easily, see the picture below this..

IMG_20210419_095757.jpg

logo-3.png

The two pine wood trims (brown wood) have the same size and after all the joints are attached well, then I flatten the trim again using a mini planer machine until the trim is completely flat.

IMG_20210419_100147.jpg

logo-3.png

Furthermore, for the provision of a small trim in the form of a line with a scale of 1:1 I attached the trim in two different colors, on the brown base trim (pine wood) I gave a yellow line trim (jackfruit wood) and on the base of the jackfruit wood I gave brown wood trim with a spacing of 3x3.5cm and both panels are 1x1.3cm in size.

To attach the two trims, I made holes in the base wood of the table sheet, then I put glue so that the wood really sticks well and so that you can understand easily you can see the picture below.

IMG_20210420_154558.jpg

logo-3.png

IMG_20210421_092334.jpg

logo-3.png

Then after all the trim parts stick well, I resumed the process of trimming using a mini crab machine until it was completely flat.

After that, I continued the process of installing the outer trim of the table sheet, here I give brown wood (pine wood) so that the table sheet will look more attractive, for the process of giving the outer trim to the final finishing stage you can see in some of the pictures below ..

For the first stage of making modern minimalist table sheets, the combination of natural wood colors has been completed and the results are like this before painting.

And this is not done yet, I have to recreate this table leg design with a simple design in one color.

For the table leg design, I made a very simple minimalist shape and of course it will look very attractive.

For the table legs, I used a 9.5x4cm wooden block and in the process of making the table legs for each corner I used glue and nails to make the table really strong.

For the process of making this table leg, I only took a few pictures when all the circuits were finished and
You can see everything in the pictures below..

Now, the table legs are finished and the table sheets are also finished and the next step is refining the entire table set until it's really smooth.

These are the architectures of my furniture and this is my second desk project, for the process of working on the minimalist color combination desk project I spent 10 working days and if you are interested in trying it you can follow some simple pictures and articles from me in the process this project.

If we pay attention, we can easily get jackfruit trees in our daily lives, but we have to be really careful when working on jackfruit wood because young jackfruit wood and old jackfruit wood have different fiber shapes and colors.

inCollage_20210616_001127647.jpg

the color difference between young jackfruit wood and old jackfruit wood

logo-3.png

And jackfruit wood has a very coarse fiber, young jackfruit wood is relatively easy to process and old jackfruit wood is very complicated in the process.

I'm @deltasteem from aceh, the province of Indonesia, who works as a carpenter in one of the furniture cvs in aceh.

Hopefully with what I explain in my post today, this can be useful for all of you because this is one way to use the wood around you using simple equipment, you can make some architectural-furniture designs with a variety of interesting colors.
