Also known as 'the cathedral of the poor', the Sagrada Familia - denomination with which from now on we will refer to this masterpiece of Universal Architecture - the culminating work and project of the brilliant Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudí i Cornet, constitutes, If I may express myself, a poem where technique, imagination, fantasy and detail are the outstanding notes of a metaphorical symphony, whose imaginary eighth notes fix the sublime precepts of creation in natural models.
It was so lovely and so inspiring at work seeing this beautiful Baroque gem every work-day of the week. And as we were inspired to work, however hectic the job had been, this view lessened our stress. From my office, it was just a few steps to its main gate and by simply crossing Prinz Eugen Strasse, we were right there inside the palace grounds in a minute. I took my lunch there, the palace has a botanical garden to its left side that is full of rare plants and flowers and you could just sit in one of the benches and enjoy the fragrance of the flowers.
Inaugurated in 1883 with the name of Paseo Guzmán Blanco, in honor of the Venezuelan President who ordered its construction, Antonio Guzmán Blanco, this space Natural area, with an approximate area of 17 hectares, pleasant mountain environment and with a prominent height, it is located to the West of the El Silencio Urbanization, between the Cathedral and San Juan parishes of the Libertador Municipality, in the central helmet of Caracas, Capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
