This street seems to be one of the oldest streets in Bucharest that seems to have kept its medieval route. The buildings that are on this street are built after 1850 because the oldest ones were destroyed in a big fire that started from this street and destroyed a large part of the city.
I walked along the paths through the old cemetery which borders the cathedral. On its territory there is a small chapel where the departed are seen off on their last journey. Behind it, you can see the majestic cathedral which is intended for those who are still alive. Yes, you always have time to lie down in the shade of the trees to the ringing of bells, but you will not hear him.
The famous Golden Gate suspension bridge was designed by the architect and structural engineer Joseph Strauss, who in turn was the chief engineer of the project and was supervising the work until it was completed. This engineer and famous architectural designer managed to finance the bridge through the banker Amadeo Giannini, founder of the Bank of America.
