The one thing I love the most about Splinterlands is there are a lot of ways to make money(crypto). There are tournaments, daily battling & quest rewards, pack openings, giveaways, renting and trading.
Trading asset in splinterlands is an awesome way to make some real profit. In Splinterlands market the rules of real world apply too. e.g. Buy low and sell high(supply and demand) and what to buy & when to buy.
When talking about Splinterlands assets we simply means cards(summoners and monsters). Card have their categories based on their rarity from Common to Legendary and then there are foils simple & Gold. Also their are edition; alpha, beta, promo etc. To sum things up circulating supply, printing and utility determines the card prize. So as a trader one needs to keep an eye on market for some nice stacking opportunity. Stacking can be short term and long term depending upon traders budget and priorities.
e,g, A few days ago price of Yodin Zaku (one of the most revered legendary summoner) was trading at all time high 42$, so I put up my BCX Yodin up for sale at 35$. And it got sold at 45,539 dec.

And today the price came down so I purchased Yodin back at 29$ paying 38,278 dec. So a simple Yodin Zaku trade made me about 7,261 dec.
