Hurricane Ida and Indian Losses - Tale of Horror

It used to be dream of many kid working in any of the high rises of New York. It is one of the happening city around the world and many people would love to make a visit to this part of world. Often referred to as the 'Big Apple', this vibrant city is known for its exclusive shops, flashy Broadway performances, and high-flying business set-ups. It's a city that has long captivated people from all over the world.

However, everything turns upside down to the city, the moment the city get struck with Hurricane Ida. The rampaging Hurricane Ida, which made landfall on August 29 in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, is the second-most destructive hurricane to hit the state on record, only after Hurricane Katrina (2005). All the social media platform, were flashing the news and many clips surfaced of the devastation caused by the hurricane and flash flood.

Emergency has already been declared in the state. The officials are working hard day and night to bring the city back to its roots. Hurricane Ida has battered the civic infrastructure in the northeastern states of the US. The storm has caused at least USD 50 billion in damages, and more than 60 life lost.

I pray for the speedy recovery and hope the happening city get back to normal sooner.

Peace

Namaste @steemflow
