Rick and Sam were cousins, but because of their similarity they were mistaken for twin brothers. They were very close from a young age and had shared many experiences and adventures. The story they preferred to tell was about the tattoo they had in common: a Cadillac Escalade driven by a young lady with flowing hair. One summer on vacation in Cuba they had gone crazy, spending money like there was no tomorrow. Carmen, an enterprising local girl, sweetened their escapades like the brown sugar in their drinks. One morning they woke up in jail, for driving a Cadillac stolen by the girl and drunk to boot. In addition to the dizziness caused by the alcohol, both had a sore arm, where their cellmate had tattooed the car with the girl for the equivalent of a brand-name watch.

Rick e Sam erano cugini, ma data la loro somiglianza venivano scambiati per fratelli gemelli. Erano molto uniti fin da piccoli ed avevano condiviso molte esperienze ed avventure. La storia che preferivano raccontare era quella del tatuaggio che avevano in comune: una cadillac escalade con alla guida una signorina dalla fluente chioma. Un'estate in vacanza a Cuba si erano dati alla pazza gioia, spendendo soldi come se non ci fosse un domani. Carmen, un'intraprendente ragazza del luogo, addolcì le loro scorribande al pari dello zucchero di canna nei loro drink. Una mattina si risvegliarono in galera, per aver guidato una cadillac rubata dalla ragazza e per giunta ubriachi. Oltre all'intontimento dovuto all'alcol ad entrambi doleva il braccio, dove il loro compagno di cella aveva tatuato l'auto con la ragazza per il corrispettivo d'un orologio di marca.
