Some Bleeps and Bloops from the Elektron Analog 4 Synthesizer

I have been so excited to be learning and programming on my MPC i got at the end of last year, that i have been neglecting my elektron gear! in fact, i didnt even realize that they updated firmware for the octatrack's 10 year anniversary until a day or two ago -so i need to get on that...

overdue to dust off this great synthesizer and take it for a spin. it has amazing modulation and randomization capabilities, (and obviously the amazing elektron sequencer) and the ability to interface with other modular synthesizers-an all around monster. i, of course use it for mostly abstract-type sounds, but it can easily be used for melodic stuff and even can synthesize percussion sounds, easily making full tracks with this one machine. the fact that each step in each tracks sequence can output totally different sounds is basically mind-blowing.

i found operating this piece a lot easier than learning the octatrack, which would take many years to master.

you get 4 tracks to work with and can easily turn it in to a wall of sound.

what synths have you been jamming or are your favorites?

i hope you liked my post!
