Drums please, Fab...

"Gone now are the old times
Forgotten, time to hold on the railing
The Rubix cube isn't solving for us
Old friends, long forgotten
The old ways at the bottom
Of the ocean now has swallowed
The only thing that's left
Is us, so pardon the silence
That you're hearing is turning
Into a deafening, painful, shameful roar"

I guess we all have had that moment of happiness when you suddenly listen to a song for the first time and it just touch you in a level you cant describe. the lyrics doesn't even matter at first, its just the feeling of the music getting inside you.

I've felt this many times, but recently it happened with this song, as simple as it this, the two guitars and the synth match perfectly the voice of Julian, giving you the chills, but its not until he says "drums please, fab.." that the song really hits you. it literally match perfectly getting the music inside your bones, and you can see your soul leaving your body at the rhythm of the drums. like If that's not enough, the lyrics have so many moments for you to relate. in my case when he says "i was just bored playing the guitar, learned all your tricks wasn't too hard" or when he goes "I needed you there, I needed you there But I didn't know, I didn't know." it just really touched me. i could talk about the lyrics the whole day because they just feel like all those thoughts you can constantly have on your daily basis, and every one of them has a single context. And at the end, that last part of the lyrics that i put at the beginning of the post, it feels like you're giving up to time and age, like everything is gone...

I really hope someone else out there feels the same while listening this for the first time. thank you for reading. u-u
