La época de 80 se caracterizo por el auge de las bandas inglesas especialmente las que tocaban rock, igual ya se escuchaban desde los 70 pero aquí en Venezuela estuvo más auge a principios de los 80 las más que escuchaba era:
Queen:
Classic Rock Band created in London in 1970. Their star singer was Freddie Mercury, he died in the 90s, the most popular songs were. Bohemian Rhapsody, Don't Stop Me Now, Another One Bites The Dust, Under Pressure, Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy, Killer Queen, Somebody To Love, We Will Rock You, Radio Ga Ga, Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
Radio Ga Ga was the symbol and sign of the band. Bohemian Rhapsody was used as the musical background for the movies Iron Man 2, Happy Feet, Moulin Rauge pratoganized by Nicol Kilman. Like the song Flash Gordon was used in the movie with the same name. My favorite is We are they Champion they sounded very often on radio stations and popularized in the movie Corazon de Caballero.

Radio Ga Ga fue el simbolo y signo de la banda. Bohemian Rhapsody se utilizo como fondo musical de las películas Iron Man 2, Happy Feet, Moulin Rauge pratoganizdo por Nicol Kilman. Al igual la canción Flash Gordon se utilizo en la película con el mismo nombre. Mi favorita es We are they Champion sonaban muy a menudo en las emisoras radiales y popularizada en la película Corazón de Caballero.
The Cure

The Police

I liked The Police a lot because it was a soft rock, its lyrics were about love and couples, for example the song Roxame sung by Sting created for his beloved, it was a musical phenomenon since it was melodies with great feelings.

Muy conocidos por las canciones “Message In A Bottle”, “Don’t Stand So Close To Me”, “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”, “Roxanne”. The Police me gusto mucho porque fue un rock suave sus letras trataban a cerca del amor y a las parejas, por ejemplo del tema Roxame cantado por Sting creado para su amada, fue un fenómeno musical ya que erar melodías con grandes sentimiento.
Duran Duran
It was made up of singers Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Simon Colley and Stephen Duffy, the band's name was taken from the character in the science fiction film Barbarella. This group was very commercial, their songs were in the 80s and 90s, the genre was disco music, they had a way of singing with great energy, they reached the public quickly, one of their most famous songs was Reflex very popular in discos and nowadays. .

La conformaron los cantantes Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Simon Colley y Stephen Duffy , el nombre de la banda fue tomado del personaje en la película de ciencia-ficción Barbarella. Este grupo fue muy comercial, sus canciones estaba en los años 80 90 el género era de música disco tenían una forma de cantar con gran energía llegaba al publico rápido, uno de sus temas más famoso fue Réflex muy sonado en las discotecas y en la actualidad.
