Hi, today I want to talk about something I really like, I will not create suspense as the title says it all, yes, Tattoos!!!!
It is incredible but despite being already in the year 2021, at least in my country, there are still many uneducated people with many taboos about tattoos.
For those of you who have read me before, you will know that I work in the human talent area, which can be very frustrating as I constantly have to deal with prejudice, yet this does not stop me from expressing myself and my thoughts and opinions on these issues, which are usually the opposite of those of my co-workers.
A tattoo does not define a professional or the kind of person you are, I have tattoos and that does not make me less professional, or a bad person, that's what I constantly say in my workplace and my boss who always tries to keep up with the world, today she understands it a little more and has left a little of these prejudices aside and that is something that makes me proud.
Tattoos have always been something that have captivated me, since I was little I always wanted to have them and in my family they are not something well seen, so I have also had my differences with them on this issue.
I currently have only three tattoos, but the truth is I want many more, in fact I have a few designs in mind....
My first tattoo was a few months before I turned 18, I told my mother that I wanted to get one and she didn't give me permission and in return what I got was a good scolding and a pretty tedious talk, which I don't remember very well now, but I imagine she would say something like when I'm old people won't know what it is, that they wouldn't give me a job because of it and other things.
So in a fit of rebellion and to impose myself, the next day I went and got a tattoo! The way I did it; fast and on the sly made me maybe not make the best decision about the design, even so I don't regret it as this is a reminder that I should always fight for what I want.
I tattooed an S, yes a letter S, for my name and because I am a SuperGirl, as it was on the sly I had to choose a place that was not visible, so the place I chose was the belly, four fingers below the navel to the left side, the font could say that something gothic with a shading in pink.
You can't imagine the drama in my house when my mother saw it after a few months, after the discussion she stopped talking to me for a long time and made other family members scold me, but I didn't care because it's what I chose and what makes me happy.
With my second tattoo everything was calmer, I said I was going to get a tattoo a couple of days before the appointment, my mother asked what I was going to do and where I was going to get it done and nothing else, however my godmother who has always been my other mom, tried to convince me not to do it but her attempts were in vain.
A triquet (a Celtic symbol) is my second tattoo, I always loved this symbol, since I was a child I had seen it in a series called Charmed which I liked a lot and aroused my curiosity about it. When I read its meaning I loved it even more, because it is attributed several meanings, among them:
1. Life, death and rebirth.
2. Past, present and future
3. Mind, body and spirit.
4. Maiden, mother and old woman.
5. Equality, eternity and indivisibility.
At the same time, I decided to accompany it with my mother's surname, which represents a lot to me and is Huerta.
And my last tattoo (for now), is a series of symbols that I decided to combine, since the meaning of them represent the things that should never be missing in my life and if they are missing, I must fight to get on track and achieve them again. Oh by the way, when I decided to get this one, my family for a change didn't agree either.
This tattoo is located by my rib on the left side. It means:
Love, desire, protection, communication and truth. The pillars of my life.
I currently have other tattoos in mind which I hope to get very soon.
One of them is a Reiki symbol, called Shanti, which means: Live in the present by sending peace to past situations so as not to be anxious about the future.

The other one I have in mind, is the little fingerprint of my Susy Amor, that if you have already read me, you will know how important it is for me ❤ .
Now as always, I am waiting for your comments, to know what do you think about tattoos, do you have tattoos, if your answer to this last one is yes, then what are they, what do they mean, what do they look like, what do they look like, what do they look like, what do they look like, and what do they mean?
Thank you very, very much for making it this far and reading me once again! 👋
