Pursuing education in a foreign country as an expat.

There are millions of Bengalis in the UAE. Many of them live with their families. Among them are businessmen and employees. Everyone is educating their children here and in the curriculum of their choice. As expatriates, we have access to both public and privately owned educational institutions. Children are educated for a lot of money, and the fees keep climbing every year.

From KG to class XII, there is a certain fees for education, then the amount of money needed in college and university increases unimaginably. Only about twenty percent of families can easily get a good education for their children. Other students are earning their way to obtain their degrees. These students have an incredible amount of mental stress. They have to work outside and continue your studies at the same time.

It is a matter of pride that Bengali students have always been at the forefront of everything from the Islamic to the contemporary education system. They tend to bag first place results in all the different boards.
In 2010, I remember one of my Bengali students scored 100 out of 100 marks in the CBSE board. She was from a school in Ajman, UAE. It was the first Secondary Certificate Result among private schools in the UAE. Girls are doing as well as boys. Our students are learning and speaking different languages.

After getting a degree, many people express their attitude to do something good in their own country, but they are forced to turn away from the country out of fear or panic. That is why most of them stay back in the UAE. Our elders need to take a look at the BUET-Medical education system in Bangladesh, which can be used to improve the country by doing many new things, including providing a special program for expatriate degrees.
This could help our advanced and educated newcomers obtain a good place to pursue their careers in our own native lands.

What the new generation decides to build for their nation is only limited to their imagination.

Within the country, they will be able to use their minds and talents to present a new developed country. People from outside the country will be interested to come in and work in our country.

I have noticed that many expatriate students express their displeasure or sadness and do not support sending housemaids abroad from Bangladesh. Instead they want to see nurses, doctors, engineers, divers and salesmen sent. Every Bengali who is in the business sector are honourable, and the Bengali students are very happy and proud of this.

We, the elders should try our best to keep these meritorious students alive and fresh. The elders of the society should give priority to the newcomers and work with them hand-in-hand.
May one day our green Bangladesh be full of technology and progress.
