Once upon a time there was a sheep called Sheila. Sheila was a very unique sheep and everyone always told Sheila just how special she was. Sheila believed that she was better than all the other sheep, and didn't even want to compare herself to the other sheep in her flock.
Sheila's parents motivated her to do her best and she grew up with the belief that she can do anything because she was such a special sheep. Eventually, Sheila just had to stamp her hoof and the rest of the flock would literally jump when she told them to.
Sheila put herself on a pedastal and became a very smooth talker. She had so many schemes. She tried a lot of things but nothing worked out quite like she wanted it.
That didn't matter to Sheila because when one thing failed she just took on the next challenge. Sheila always had something up her sleeve. She knew that her family looked up to her and was able to convince them to lend her money for all her adventures and when the money ran out, she started to target her friends and always persuaded them to take part in her next scheme that was going to make millions.
Sure, some of her ideas were great, but she never actually succeeded in creating a good business that stood the test of time. She got bored easily and also gave up easily. Sheila just wanted to upkeep her flamboyant lifestyle.
The other sheep quickly realized that she was a scammer and one after the other they started to refuse her any financial assistance. Sheila just laughed at them and called them stupid because they did not realize that SHE was special and that SHE could do anything.
Eventually Sheila started to lose her friends and even her family didn't want to support her anymore. She turned out a complete washout and ended up alone. Up to this day, no one actually knows what happened to Sheila after her last scheme but they never heard from her again.
The truth is Sheila was so busy all the time being special, that she actually forgot to do something important. She forgot to persevere and also forgot to work hard.
She lived in a false sense of reality. She might have been confident and motivated but she never put in much effort.
She should have realized that she needed her friends to support and help her grow her business, but instead she expected everything to just fall into her lap.
Nothing in life is for free. If we don't work hard and persevere we will not be successful. Nobody likes scammers, and there are plenty of them going around. Keep your eyes and your ears open, and make sure you are not caught in any schemes. Hard work is the only thing that pays off. If something doesn't work out the first time, try again. Giving up is not an option.
In life we can be as positive as we want to be, but if we don't work hard to succeed in life, we will not succeed.
Life has no shortcuts. Work for what you want!
