Madrugada is a Norwegian rock band, and it was established in its first edition in Hadsel in 1993. After different changes of band name and new members, the band changed the name to Madrugada in 1997/1998. The band’s debut album, Industrial Silence, came out to the markets in 1999, and it debuted on the first place on the famous national newspaper called for VG.

You find Madrugada on different platforms in the environments concerned with music, and these are: YouTube, Spotify and Deezer. And we can play and listen to the music that we are just appreciating and admiring from this group.

We find much information of Madrugada on the Internet, and they have also been on the TV-program called for «Lindmo» after the program leader Anne Lindmo on NRK, the national main channels for TV-programs in Norway, the way that we find in north! The most known songs of them on the Internet are: «Nobody Loves You Like I Do», «Dreams at Midnight» and «Majesty». And these songs are about normal perceptions in life, and what we all are experiencing when getting the news in the TV-channels at home and abroad, and we also get some information on the radio.

Other known songs from this music group are: «Hands Up – I Love You» and «Electric». And therefore we have energy in our bodies, and we should do as good as we can with all the results and the performances in the future. There are also albums coming from this group as: «Industrial Silence», «Madrugada», «The Nightly Disease» and «The Deep End». And accordingly, we are choosing some melodies and some issues in the music, and we are presenting and given them to the markets, and this is the launching in the markets, and the markets are both national and international.

Madrugada is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in the town of Stokmarknes in 1993. The key band members included Sivert Høyem (vocals), Robert Burås (guitar) and Frode Jacobsen (bass). After Burås' death on 12 July 2007, Høyem and Jacobsen decided to finish recording what was to be their final album. On 21 January 2008, the band released Madrugada and announced that they would split after one last tour. They performed their final concert on 15 November 2008.

In June 2018 it was announced that Høyem, Jacobsen and Lauvland Pettersen had reformed the band for a series of shows in 2019. It was Lauvland Pettersen that took the initiative to form the new band in 2019. And Lauvland Pettersen is a culture house leader, a producer and a consultant. Hence, there is competence and experiences in their heads making the music group, and we should like their appearances different places, also in the TV-programs in Norway and abroad. But there should be enough profit efforts, and making money on music in the long run, to be operated in business.

Madrugada always had something timeless about them. The band emerged from a never-ending conversation about music that was taken into the rehearsal room, and from there to the recording studio and the stage, where dark, melancholic magic was created. Critics and audiences alike were moved by the nerve in their musical expression. Each of the band members made a unique contribution to what was Madrugada’s identity. Høyem’s heartfelt baritone. Jacobsen’s grounding bass. Lauvland Pettersen’s inventive drumming. Not to mention the songs. “Our best songs were never by the book. We had to do things our own way.”

Madrugada is a music group playing much in Scandinavia in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. And nowadays, they are also playing in other countries in Europe. Madrugada has won five Norwegian Grammies and several other prizes. Their records sold to gold and platinum.

And again some music as it was asked to be included! :)
