¡Hola! Hoy estoy muy emocionada hace poco termine esta ilustración de un mapache, comiendo su desayuno y estoy maravillada, debo decir que al iniciar esta ilustración este no era para nada lo que esperaba, en principio quería solo dibujar al animalito con su pan, pero debido a la pose que llevaba me pareció muy divertido que llevara una ropita y botas y el resultado me ha encantado, este animalito es un famoso por robar comida sin ningún tipo de pena de los hogares humanos y hurgar en su basura, así que elegí un conjunto un poco descuidado.

Hello! Today I am very excited I recently finished this illustration of a raccoon, eating his breakfast and I am amazed, I must say that when I started this illustration this was not at all what I expected, at first I wanted to just draw the animal with his bread, but because of the pose he was wearing I found it very funny that he was wearing a little clothes and boots and the result has delighted me, this little animal is a famous for stealing food without any shame from human homes and rummaging through their garbage, so I chose a little sloppy outfit.

Lo primero que hice fue un dibujo lineal del animalito, con la misma pose de la foto de referencia.

The first thing I did was a line drawing of the animal, with the same pose as the reference photo.

Pero me pareció muy simple además que me sentía mal al ver sus patitas descubiertas, por eso comencé dibujándole un par de botitas y entonces pensé que tal vez tendría frio y dibuje una bufanda alrededor de su cuello y en ese punto todo de desencadenó en efecto domino y termine dibujando todo el outfit que lleva.

But it seemed too simple and I felt bad to see her little legs uncovered, so I started drawing her a pair of booties and then I thought that maybe she would be cold and I drew a scarf around her neck and at that point everything triggered in a domino effect and I ended up drawing the whole outfit he is wearing.

Una vez obtuve este boceto era el momento de realizar el dibujo lineal, en el cual definí mejor todas las líneas que había realizado previamente en el diseño y luego añadí un color base sobre todo el dibujo.

Once I got this sketch it was time to make the line drawing, in which I defined better all the lines I had previously made in the design and then I added a base color over the whole drawing.

Seguidamente procedí a colorear el área del pelaje y la cabecita, para ello he usado varios tonos de gris y marrones, los cuales integre luego realizando pequeños trazos en simulando el pelaje del mapache, sus patitas las he coloreado con un gris azulado oscuro y con un tono más claro he dibujado algunas luces.

Then I proceeded to color the fur area and the little head, for this I used various shades of gray and brown, which I integrated then making small strokes in simulating the fur of the raccoon, its legs I have colored with a dark bluish gray and with a lighter tone I have drawn some lights.

Quise pintar las botas de un color que resaltase, así que la mejor opción era un color rojo, el pantalón de un color verde militar desgastado por el uso y el toque especial un parche en su rodilla; para la chaqueta he decidido un color a tono con el resto, para ello el marrón era a mi parecer el color ideal, también dibuje en su bolsillo un dulce, el cual probablemente robo al algún despistado transeúnte, al igual que sus botas su bufanda también debía destacar así que he decidido colorearla del mismo color.

I wanted to paint the boots in a color that stood out, so the best option was a red color, the pants in a military green color worn by the use and the special touch a patch on his knee; for the jacket I have decided a color in tune with the rest, for that brown was in my opinion the ideal color, I also drew in his pocket a candy, which probably stole to some clueless passerby, like his boots his scarf should also highlight so I decided to color it in the same color.

Por último, quise agregar esta vez un fondo y aunque aún no mejoro en ello tome de referencia igualmente el fondo de la foto del mapache, primero coloque algunas manchas de color que luego con un pincel al agua esparcí un poco para que pareciera una acuarela un poco diluida, luego agregue algunas luces sobre el dibujo para adaptarlo un poco más al ambiente y listo, espero que haya sido de su agrado, tratare de continuar con ilustraciones de este estilo si te ha gustado te espero en un próximo post.

Finally, I wanted to add this time a background and although I still do not improve on it, I also took as a reference the background of the raccoon photo, first I put some color spots that then with a water brush I spread a little to make it look like a watercolor a little diluted, then I added some lights on the drawing to adapt it a little more to the environment and ready, I hope you liked it, I will try to continue with illustrations of this style if you liked it I will wait for you in a next post.
