A friend of mine in the studio just told me about clipping mask recently and it was then i realized im a yolo(you only live once) kinda artist, i just go with the flow, its just basically creating a layer above a fat color and clipping it to that same flat color of and i decided to test it with this simple logo design ....and yes its an imaginary work....im just practicing ,
started with a normal, circle and cross anatomy style,
then i added the flat colors
then i created a new layer and i clipped it to the flat layer below, added the shades to the face,
notice the little mistake i made in the above image ,because the added light layer didnt come in a clip form, but when i added it...,

and then did clean up of all light and shades to make it even and thats how we got to the final end product. To be fair clipping mask are quite great and i hope digital artist like me start using it, although im pretty sure im the only digital artist just knowing about it i guess....
