For this week's session, I varied my references for poses, taking not only academic nude poses, but also dynamic and athletic poses to train my skills in gesture drawing.
I can start to see the differences between my old drawings and these ones, I can feel the 3D aspect of the body better than before.
And the other difference is that I can do a 1 minute drawing as well as my old 5 minute sketches.
So my training is starting to pay off and it's really encouraging. And I'm happy to share this training with you. The fact that I'm blogging it here is a record that I can look back on to see how I've developed =)
