Ésta ilustración fue una idea que se me ocurrió mientras veía un reloj de arena que hay en la casa de mi abuelo. Me encantaria en algun momento estamparla en una camisa, pues me gustó mucho el resultado y creo que representa bien la idea y concepto que tenía en mente.
This illustration was an idea that occurred to me while looking at an hourglass in my grandfather's house. I would love to stamp it on a shirt at some point, because I really liked the result and I think it represents well the idea and concept I had in mind.
Imagínense tener un reloj que en lugar de arena tenga agua y fuego en lados contrarios, que cuando el agua caiga y extinga el fuego, salgan llamas del otro lado y asi vuelve a comenzar...esa era la idea.
Imagine having a clock that instead of sand has water and fire on opposite sides, that when the water falls and extinguishes the fire, flames come out from the other side and so it starts again ... that was the idea.
Por desgracia nunca la llegué a estampar ni vender el diseño, así que se los mostraré aqui mientras se me ocurre que hacer con él.
Unfortunately I never got it to print or sell the design, so I'll show it to you here while I figure out what to do with it.
Fue un intento de hacer un estilo nueva escuela combinado con surrealismo, algo caricaturesco. Ademas quiero perfeccionar mi manera de colorear con colores fuertes y vivos. también combiné hacer el contorno y linework con vectores y el coloreado con pinceles de paint tool sai.
It was an attempt to make a new school style combined with surrealism, somewhat cartoonish. I also want to perfect my way of coloring with strong and vivid colors. I also combined outlining and linework with vectors and coloring with paint tool sai brushes.
