Here in Nigeria, rape is now springing out as the order of the day for the past one week. As if it wasn't enough to take these innocent young ladies's life, they are also murdered in cold blood. Uwa was raped and brutalized in a church where she went to read, Barakat a hijab muslim young lady was raped and killed in her mother's house just this week, Ada is just 13years old and she was raped. I opened twitter last night and I see series of recent RAPE cases here in Nigeria. I know its all over the country and RAPE happens everyday but this is bad. Its really bad. Last night my Grandma sent me to buy something at a neighbor's house, and this fear came over me. Because it seems no where is safe but I know God is with me so I went.
We need to rise up and fight for our girls, ladies, and women. Atleast one person you know has been raped, no age is excluded. We need to say No to RAPE. Don't say its a common topic and normal thing, it is a deadly thing. Some ladies don't even survive the trauma while it drove some to suicide. I really hope this world become a better place for this generation but especially the ones to come.
The drawing is a Pointilism sketch. I decided to try something different and use colors for the dots. I use series of colors and finally white dots this highlight the drawing.
