Fue algo diferente, no conozco del todo a esta actriz pero sé que es una gran actriz ya que mi amiga me ha explicado muchas cosas sobre ella, algunas de las películas en las que aparece son Thor Ragnarok haciendo el papel de Hela (hermana de Thor), Jasmine azul, el curioso caso de Benjamin Button, La Cenicienta live-action, entre otras. Hello everyone, I hope you are feeling well!♥️ Today I bring you the process of this drawing, a self-portrait of the actress Cate Blanchett that, thanks to a friend, I was encouraged to do it. Materiales/ Materials
- Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, mis colores kores, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños).
- What I used to make the traditional drawing on a 35 x 28 cm cardboard sheet, my kores colors, a 2 HB graphite pencil and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners sharp so it will be easier to erase small spaces).
✨Paso a paso/ Step by Step✨
Comencé haciendo el boceto del rostro, fue un pequeño reto porque no soy muy buena haciendo perspectivas . Sin hacer mucha presión al grafito para evitar que a la hora de borrar se manche la hoja y tratando de encontrar la mayor precisión posible a la hora de ir integrando sus rasgos.
I started by making the sketch of the face, it was a little challenge because I'm not very good at making perspectives . Without putting too much pressure on the graphite to avoid smudging the sheet when erasing and trying to find the greatest possible precision when integrating her features.
Fui haciendo el sombreado en tonos negros y marrones por todo el contorno del rostro, las partes oscurecidas como la nariz, el cuello, las manos (en dónde hice las sombras de los nudillos), además de sombrear los párpados.
I was doing the shading in black and brown tones all around the contour of the face, the darkened parts like the nose, the neck, the hands (where I made the shadows of the knuckles), in addition to shading the eyelids.
Luego utilice el color negro para colorear las partes oscurecidas como los orificios de la nariz, pintar los ojos y hacer la sombra en los párpados y sombrear los dientes. Seguí con las cejas primero haciendo un fondo con un color marrón claro para luego ir haciendo los pelitos en color marrón oscuro y en color negro, por último deje espacios en blanco al principio para hacer esa parte más clara y la cola de la ceja más oscura.
Then I used the black color to color the darkened parts like the nostrils, paint the eyes and make the shadow on the eyelids and shade the teeth. I continued with the eyebrows first making a background with a light brown color and then making the hairs in dark brown and black color, finally I left white spaces at the beginning to make that part lighter and the tail of the eyebrow darker.
Agregue un color más oscuro a su color de piel para sombrear y así unir los marrones y negros, uni el color de la sombra de ojos y darle más profundidad y realismo a las cejas.
Add a darker color to your skin color for shading to merge the browns and blacks, merge the eye shadow color and give more depth and realism to the eyebrows.
Pinte con el color piel todo su rostro, el cuello y sus manos, además con una tiza rojiza pinte suavemente sus mejillas hasta tener un tono un poco oscuro en sus pómulos. Pinte sus iris de un tono aceituna, combine azul con un poco de verde y gris luego le hice las pestañas bastante voluminosas.
Paint with the skin color all her face, neck and hands, also with a reddish chalk gently paint her cheeks until you have a little dark tone on her cheekbones. I painted her irises in an olive tone, combined blue with a bit of green and gray, then I made her eyelashes quite voluminous.
Pinte los labios de un tono rojizo suave, haciendo los detalles del labio con un rojo más oscuro para que destacaran, por último pinte el medio de su labio inferior de un tono rosa para que se viera más brillante.
I painted her lips a soft reddish tone, making the lip details with a darker red to make them stand out, lastly I painted the middle of her lower lip a pink tone to make it look brighter.
Hice las líneas de referencia del cabello con un color marrón para tener una referencia y no salirme de las líneas, luego pinté parte de su traje, hice su moño y pinte de gris los botones.
I did the hair reference lines with a brown color to have a reference and not go outside the lines, then I painted part of her outfit, made her bow and painted the buttons gray.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminé el cabello haciendo una combinación de amarillo, un poco de naranja y el color piel, además del marrón que le da sombreado. Luego pinté el saco del traje con color negro y gris para hacer la iluminación y por último agregue mi firma. Mi amiga quedó muy sorprendida por la precisión del dibujo y dijo que le había encantado, siendo sincera solo había dibujado a ésta actriz una sola vez y era porque su rostro es un tanto complejo pero después de practicar quise ponerme este reto para poder hacer y aprender cosas nuevas. Me siento muy feliz con el resultado ♥️
This is the result of the drawing, I finished the hair making a combination of yellow, a bit of orange and the skin color, besides the brown that gives it shading. Then I painted the suit jacket with black and gray to make the illumination and finally I added my signature. My friend was very surprised by the precision of the drawing and said she loved it, to be honest I had only drawn this actress once and it was because her face is a bit complex but after practicing I wanted to set myself this challenge to be able to do and learn new things. I am very happy with the result ♥️
