Tenía días sin publicar por acá. Este es otro ángulo de la cabeza de la Ariane du Capitole. Se trata del ejercicio de dibujo de la lámina número 45 del Cours de Dessin de Charles Bargue. Me costó bastante especialmente el cabello, por momentos no sé ni qué fue lo que hice, intenté emular esas textúras pétreas, que al mismo tiempo parecieran formas de cabello. Pero la intensidad del sombreado es lo que juega el papel esencial para uno saber qué va delante qué tiene que verse más atrás.

I haven't posted here for days. This is another angle of the head of the Ariane du Capitole. It is the drawing exercise of the plate number 45 of the Cours de Dessin by Charles Bargue. I had a hard time, especially the hair, at times I don't even know what I did, I tried to emulate those stony textures, which at the same time looked like hair shapes. But the intensity of the shading is what plays the essential role to know what goes in front and what has to be seen further back.
