Este dibujo del "Cours de Dessin" de Charles Bargue es la lámina número 31. Al parecer, la estatua de referencia que usó el autor del libro es la cabeza de Nerón cuando era un infante.
Este boceto representa otra sección de esta primera parte del libro, donde se trabajan cabezas y rostros. Hay mucha gente que critica esta obra, que no le gusta, pero yo pienso que es importante aprender de los recursos que se tienen a la mano.

This drawing from Charles Bargue's "Cours de Dessin" is plate number 31. Apparently, the reference statue used by the author of the book is the head of Nero as an infant.
This sketch represents another section of this first part of the book, where heads and faces are worked on. There are many people who criticize this work, who do not like it, but I think it is important to learn from the resources at hand.
