Today, I'd like to share my fan art of Rengoku from Demon Slayer.
Demon Slayer is a Japanese manga/amine. My youngest daughter is a big fan of this show. We watched the movie together the other day.
I was inspired to draw him because my daughter wouldn't stop telling me how cool he was haha.
If you would like to check out this anime, you can find it on Crunchyroll or Netflix. I’m not sure if the movie is available on Netflix though.
Anyways, let me share the process of the drawing.
I used the photo of the figure as a reference this time.

今日の投稿は鬼滅の刃のファンアートです。煉獄さんを描いてみました。
先日こちらでも劇場版が観れるようになったので、早速次女ちゃんと一緒に観たのですが、やはり煉獄さんはかっこいいですね〜
映画を観てから次女ちゃんの煉獄さんカッコいい！が止まらなかったのでファンアートを描くことにしました。
以下、過程です。今回は煉獄さんのフィギュアの写真を参考に描きました。
I started out drawing the chest and above however I ended up drawing more.
The rough sketch is completed here.
胸から上を描こうと思ったのですが、どんどん伸びてスケッチ出来上がりです。
I decided to draw in semi-realistically this time. I smoothed the rough sketch as I added details.
セミリアルで描くことにしました。ザクザク描いたスケッチをブレンドしていきます。
He uses flame breathing techniques when he combats. So, I created a flamy background.
煉獄さんは炎の呼吸を使うので、背景は炎にしました。
I added some more flames on the character as well and my fan art is completed.
