Today I made a Watercolour portrait painting of Marion Cotillard, the famous actress who had wonderful acting moments in movies like inception, Batman Dark knight etc.

Step.1
First I started to draw a very basic sketch with a blue ball point pen on the paper.
Step.2
I completed the outline of the portrait with the pen.
Step.3
Now I made some shades with the pen itself over the portrait.
Step.4
Started painting with the watercolour. For that I made the paper wet and started applying colours lightly.
Step.5
I moved to more colours. Completes the first full layer of colours.
Step.6
The final step. Applying the more contrasty colours on the dry paper. Creating shades with colours and detailing.
