Today we took the Nissan and drove over to the next mountain range, very close to the capital in Bogota - a tiny town called Guayabal de Siquima.
Along with Dr. Sergio, my wife and I drove about 4 hours cross country to the neighboring state of Cundinamarca, across the Magdalena River.
We took a quick stop in Vianí to grab some aromatic tea and continue. This town has a beautiful park in the center of town.
We arrived to a beautiful hotel with an incredibly interesting host named Richard. More on him in a future post.
We went to the site of tomorrows event and got the tables set up.
After an hour they had everything ready.
This is an incredibly pretty little town, and I look forward to sharing more of what we found here tomorrow.
