There are still a few days left before the release of the new expansion but Pietro, Merry Bandit has already received reinforcements.
I found Chosen of Auros among its 1-mana War minions today:
The creature successfully gained protected after I cast a spell:
That makes Pietro better as casting Dark Knives on Chosen of Auros will give it protected which is a good bonus for aggro Deception deck.
There is one more 1-mana War creature in upcoming Dread Awakening set, Bygone Defender:
That one is truly awesome. You can spell not only Dark Knives but also Assassin's Aim on it, and Bygone Defender will get +4 strength in both cases. If you play Pietro along with Crooked Quartermaster, you can buff Bygone Defender well with spells like Stoneskin Poison and Hunting Trap.
