My young nephew get super excited on seeing these wild weeds. The white feathered touch is very soft. It like a cotton or wool grown along the field area. He soon started to make a hay of them by splashing them with sticks.

While I was busy shooting and giving different shades to these grass, later I found out some very important aspect of these grass. Even though these are weeds I.e unwanted plants that grows by own, these colon grass has some more importance. As per an article over internet:

Cogongrass is used as a soil binder (to prevent soil erosion), animal feed, and herbal medicine. Studies show that cogongrass contains chemicals (has the allelopathic ability) that prevent the growth of other plant species and contribute to its invasiveness and extreme competitiveness.

Though it was not huge in numbers. But it does spread at one side of my farm. My nephew removed few of them, and rest I took them to home and put Ina vase. It does give a softy feeling. But later I regret keeping them.inside home. As the soft white feather hair started to sway because of thr ceiling fan. It spread all over my room, and finally I have throw them in dustbin and clean the room completelly.

Anyhow it was good to learn something new about this weed. At the end it was a wild beauty that just trying to invade my field.

Peace
