Así como existen las 7 maravillas del mundo, también existen esos placeres culinarios que nos hacen vivir una experiencia única en el paladar. Para mí, porque cuando se trata de comida es diferente para cada persona, uno de los placeres culinarios son las fresas con crema. > Sometimes the tastiest desserts in the world are the most simple. Aunque existen algunas versiones sobre su origen, personalmente agradezco al pastelero que se le ocurrió mezclar fresas con crema y que hoy en día, en Venezuela, se ha vuelto un postre tradicional en algunas regiones del país, sobre todo en las que el clima es frío. Hay versiones donde se agregan más cosas a esta preparación, pero lo tradicional es mezclar fresas y crema. Yo para esta versión, prepare un sirope de fresas, monte crema tipo chantilly y utilice fresas. Preparación / Preparation

- Comenzar haciendo el sirope, en una olla, colocar las fresas picadas junto con el agua, la azúcar y el jugo de limón. Cocinar a fuego medio, hasta que reduzca a la mitad. Remover de vez en cuando, para evitar que se pegue en el fondo, esto solo como medida de precaución. Una vez reducido a la mitad el líquido, apagar y dejar enfriar por completo. > - Start making the syrup, in a saucepan, place the chopped strawberries along with the water, sugar and lemon juice. Móntala hasta que esté bien firme. Ten presente que, para montar la crema, esta debe estar muy fría, al igual que los utensilios que utilices. De ser necesario, puedes preparar un baño de María inverso (agua con hielo) y sobre eso montar la crema. > - Place the cream in a bowl, add the essences and if the cream you use does not already have sugar, add to taste. ¡Ya las fresas con crema están listas! es un postre bastante sencillo de preparar y que combina diferentes texturas y sabores que son un placer al paladar. Hay diferentes versiones de este postre, algunos agregan un toque de chocolate, otros usan duraznos, frambuesas o arándanos, ya eso depende de cada quién, lo que, si es tener presente que lo tradicional, desde los años 1500, es solo fresa con crema. > Strawberries and cream are ready!
