¡Hola hola, mis hermosísimos hivers! hoy vengo cargada de energía, felicidad y una gran vibra positiva para todos ustedes. Espero hayan tenido un gran fin de semana, hoy en este post quiero contarles un poco del mío.
Hello hello, my beautiful hivers! Today I come loaded with energy, happiness and a great positive vibe for all of you. I hope you had a great weekend, today in this post I want to tell you a little bit about mine.
Desde hace unas semanas he estado bastante ocupada con mis actividades universitarias. He tenido que pasar prácticamente todo mi día investigando, escribiendo trabajos, haciendo hasta imágenes para una página de mi proyecto. Mis días se iban solo haciendo todo lo que debía hacer de la universidad y estaba cansada, porque sí, estudiar en exceso también agota mentalmente.
For the past few weeks I have been quite busy with my university activities. I have had to spend practically my whole day researching, writing papers, even making images for a page of my project. My days were going just doing everything I had to do from college and I was tired, because yes, studying too much is also mentally exhausting.

Necesitaba un día diferente, de tomarme un día para mí, descansar mi mente. Junto con mis amigos decidimos crear un "día de retiro". Le dimos ese nombre porque era un día de escape de todo lo que nos tenía abrumados, un día solo para compartir y relajarnos así que nos quedamos a dormir la noche del sábado en casa de mi mejor amigo para tener todo el día domingo de retiro.

I needed a different day, to take a day for myself, to rest my mind. Together with my friends we decided to create a "retreat day". We gave it that name because it was a day of escape from everything that had us overwhelmed, a day just to share and relax so we slept over Saturday night at my best friend's house to have the whole day Sunday of retreat.
Nos levantamos un poco tarde esa mañana y mientras la mamá de mi mejor amigo preparaba su muy deliciosa sopa del domingo, nosotros decimos descansar en el porche ya que estaba bastante fresco afuera.
Después de una hora de esperar que la sopa estuviera lista, valió totalmente la esperar porque estaba buenísima. La mamá de mi mejor amigo preparó una sopa de verduras con arepa y estaba tan buena que todos repetimos.
We got up a little late that morning and while my best friend's mom was preparing her very delicious Sunday soup, we decided to rest on the porch since it was quite cool outside.
After an hour of waiting for the soup to be ready, it was totally worth the wait because it was so good. My best friend's mom prepared a vegetable soup with arepa and it was so good that we all repeated.
Decidimos volver afuera a reposar toda esa cantidad de sopa tan exquisita que comimos. Estuvimos acostados en la hamaca, hablando y riendo mucho ya que debido a lo muy ocupados que hemos estado últimamente, no nos habíamos puesto al día con todo.
We decided to go back outside to rest all that delicious soup we had eaten. We were lying in the hammock, talking and laughing a lot because due to how busy we have been lately, we hadn't caught up on everything.
Luego de un rato decidimos preparar café porque al levantarnos estábamos tan concentrados en todas las historias que teníamos guardadas que lo olvidamos, mi mejor amigo preparó su café que debo decir es uno de los mejores que he probado.
Nos sentamos nuevamente en el porche a tomarlo y seguir conversando porque cuando les digo que teníamos muchas cosas de que hablar, eran realmente muchas jajajaja.
After a while we decided to make coffee because when we got up we were so focused on all the stories we had stored that we forgot, my best friend prepared his coffee which I must say is one of the best I have ever tasted.
We sat down again on the porch to drink it and continue talking because when I tell you that we had a lot of things to talk about, it was really a lot hahahaha.
Mientras estábamos hablando se nos ocurrió ir a tomar chicha, que es una bebida dulce muy conocida aquí en Venezuela y bastante buena. Así podíamos terminar nuestro día de retiro con ese gustico dulce que queríamos.
While we were talking it occurred to us to go and drink chicha, which is a very well known sweet drink here in Venezuela and quite good. So we could end our day of retreat with that sweet taste we wanted.
Luego de tomar nuestra chicha, de algunas fotos y de haber hablado durante un rato en aquel sitio, caminamos de regreso a casa de mi amigo dónde tristemente mi amiga y yo fuimos a buscar nuestros bolsos para regresar a casa aunque queríamos seguir con nuestro retiro pero hoy debíamos volver a nuestras responsabilidades.
Decidimos hacer otro día de retiro pronto porque es algo que verdaderamente necesitamos, un día de despejar la mente y darnos un receso de todas las responsabilidades que tenemos cada uno. Tomarnos un día para descansar, respirar y hablar mucho, reír y hacer cosas diferentes a las cotidianas. Y así es como tuvimos nuestro gran día de retiro como decidimos llamarlo.
After drinking our chicha, taking some pictures and talking for a while in that place, we walked back to my friend's house where sadly my friend and I went to get our bags to go back home even though we wanted to continue with our retreat but today we had to go back to our responsibilities.
We decided to do another retreat day soon because it is something we really need, a day to clear our minds and give ourselves a break from all the responsibilities we each have. To take a day to rest, to breathe and talk a lot, to laugh and do things different from our daily routine. And that's how we had our big retreat day as we decided to call it.
