I am a lover of climbing and discovering new places! This weekend was brutal because I climbed with my wife, family and friend a small mountain to discover two different caves, one is called "ATO DA PENA" and the other "Penedo do Gato" are two different caves more than 15km apart walking and having different heights and characteristics! So good to join me in this adventure post!🚙🚩
Adoro escalar e descobrir novos lugares! Este fim de semana foi brutal porque escalei com a minha mulher, família e amigos uma pequena montanha para descobrir duas grutas diferentes, uma se chama "ATO DA PENA" e a outra "Penedo do Gato" são duas grutas distintas a mais de 15km de distância caminhando e tendo diferentes alturas e características! tão bom se juntar a mim neste post de aventura!🚨🌄

I love doing these activities with family or friends to drain a little energy and release stress from my day to day! The first thing I did was meet Jose, an old friend who always accompanies me on my climbs, both of us combined to meet on the beach on the south side of Lisbon, it was our point of reference since we both live basically halfway! then our destiny would be Guerreiros!👨🦰👨🦾🦿
Adoro fazer essas atividades com a família ou amigos para drenar um pouco de energia e liberar o estresse do meu dia a dia! A primeira coisa que fiz foi conhecer o José, um velho amigo que sempre me acompanha nas minhas subidas, ambos combinados para nos encontrarmos na praia da zona sul de Lisboa, foi o nosso ponto de referência já que ambos vivemos basicamente na metade do caminho! então o nosso destino seria Guerreiros!💖💖✅
Well our first destination was the famous cave "PENEDO DO GATO" is a small mountainous area about 5 kilometers from the city of Guerreiro, it does not have access by vehicle so you have to walk and climb over some small ravines, we have to go through a Very rural area and a lot of mud, we combine to come here when it has not rained so as not to take risks of falling!😍😍
Pois bem o nosso primeiro destino foi a famosa gruta "PENEDO DO GATO" é uma pequena zona montanhosa a cerca de 5 quilómetros da cidade do Guerreiro, não tem acesso de viatura pelo que temos que caminhar e subir uns pequenos barrancos, temos que ir numa zona muito rural e com muita lama, combinamos vir aqui quando não chove para não correr o risco de cair!🤔🤔
While we are walking along the muddy road, we were lucky to come across a very dry road, on the sides we delight in the valleys of the guerreiro area, a place known for taking advantage of wind energy, so it is normal to see many windmills wind, there is a park near the area that is to learn about wind energy, very interesting!😋😋
Enquanto caminhamos pela estrada lamacenta, tivemos a sorte de encontrar um caminho muito seco, nas laterais deliciamo-nos com os vales da zona do guerreiro, local conhecido pelo aproveitamento da energia eólica, por isso é normal veja muitos moinhos de vento .vento, tem um parque perto da área que é para aprender sobre energia eólica, muito interessante!😅😅
It was the first time that we went to this cave, it took us about 3 hours, to get it, there came a point where we got lost since there is no reference in googlemaps, you have to look for it very carefully, suddenly we saw that it was below us and we had to climb towards down about 10 meters high! We tried to find a secondary path but there was none! XD😋😋
Foi a primeira vez que fomos a essa caverna, demoramos umas 3 horas, para conseguir, chegou um ponto que a gente se perdeu por não ter referência no googlemaps, tem que procurar com muito cuidado, de repente nós vimos que estava abaixo de nós e tivemos que descer cerca de 10 metros de altura! Tentamos encontrar um caminho secundário, mas não havia nenhum! XD🧗♂️🧗♀️
At this point, where jose and johan were, the cave was located below, we had to descend to reach it! But before we hydrated we had a lot of time walking without taking anything! then in the cave we were going to eat something!👨🦰👨👨🦳
Neste ponto, onde jose e johan estavam, a caverna estava localizada abaixo, tivemos que descer para alcançá-la! Mas antes de nos hidratarmos passávamos muito tempo andando sem levar nada! então, na caverna, íamos comer alguma coisa!🦿🦾🧠

And we got to the cave, it was a feeling of accomplishment because no one had been here before, we got it because one day my brother drove down the road in his car and saw a ledge that looked like the entrance to some cave and was the who motivated us to get here! and while we rested we talked about life, interesting things! and we took strength to go to the next cave "ATO DA PENA"🤩🤩
E chegamos à caverna, foi um sentimento de realização porque ninguém havia estado aqui antes, percebemos porque um dia meu irmão dirigiu pela estrada em seu carro e viu uma saliência que parecia a entrada de alguma caverna e foi quem nos motivou a chegar aqui! e enquanto descansávamos conversamos sobre a vida, coisas interessantes! e pegamos força para ir para a próxima caverna "ATO DA PENA"🥰🥰
The cave was very narrow and moving between the tunnels was very dangerous, because it looks like it could give way and fall some stones so we did not decide to go inside without the corresponding equipment, we just took some photos and inside and continued our weekend adventure!🙄😏
A caverna era muito estreita e o deslocamento entre os túneis era muito perigoso, pois parecia que poderia ceder e cair algumas pedras então não decidimos entrar sem o equipamento correspondente, apenas tiramos algumas fotos e por dentro e continuamos nosso fim de semana aventura!😅🤣

This second cave was approximately 15 kilometers from where we were, so it was a walk of more or less 2 hours, remember that it was up and down the mountain so it was never a straight line and it was more difficult, but it was worth it. view that this cave offers us!🙂🤗
Essa segunda caverna ficava a aproximadamente 15 quilômetros de onde estávamos, então era uma caminhada de mais ou menos 2 horas, lembre-se que era subindo e descendo a montanha então nunca era uma linha reta e era mais difícil, mas valeu a pena vista que esta caverna nos oferece!😮😮

And finally after so many hours of walking and climbing we reached our next cave, it is very small and from what I saw only small mammals can pass here between the tunnels, apparently this space is used by hunters who after killing some birds, or rabbits come here to prepare them! It was very hard to get here because the climb was very steep!😋😋
E finalmente depois de tantas horas de caminhada e escalada chegamos a nossa próxima caverna, ela é muito pequena e pelo que vi apenas pequenos mamíferos podem passar aqui entre os túneis, aparentemente este espaço é usado por caçadores que após matar alguns pássaros, ou coelhos venha aqui prepará-los! Foi muito difícil chegar até aqui porque a subida era muito íngreme!😥😨😰
