Kiara and me at the restaurant
I’ve been visiting SA again after 6 years of being away. I went to Bryanston where I used to live and it was unbelievable to see all the new residential developments that have come up.
One of the new developments was of a commercial building that had a restaurant called Jackson’s and had a view overlooking some of Bryanston.

Great atmosphere
Jackson's Real Food Market and Eatery in Bryanston is very nice with healthy food.
I ate an open steak sandwich and Kiara had an omelette. My breakfast was delicious!

Hey Joburg! There’s a new kid on the block, and they’re worth getting to know. And worth getting excited about. Jackson’s Real Food Market has been a whole-foods institution in Bryanston for a while now, but they’ve just upped the ante and exploded into a much bigger space. This means that they now have a beautiful space with an enormous made-for-hanging-out deck that overlooks tree-topped hills to the east of the suburb, and a menu to match. - Article by Sarah Graham
Later on, we witnessed this African red sunset whilst driving on the highway… it was amazing!
Beautiful red sunset on the way home
It's not everyday that you see a beautiful sight like this.
Tonight we are going out with Tam and Eden to a mexican restaurant and planning another hike tomorrow - Saturday.
We are talking about going to Cape Town and if we do, I'd like to climb lions head. My mother's family lived just below that mountain when my mother was young. She brags about having climbed Table Mountain - but that's not on my agenda.
