My incredible weekend

The weekend was planned so that I could go house hunting with Jack and Les.

As luck would have it they found a house through my South African group on WhatsApp the weekend before - so this turned into a celebration weekend.

We arrived in Ayia Napa on Friday afternoon and went to the Ocean Basket on the Marina for lunch.

Les and I each had cod with top-up prawns

We booked into our beautiful hotel Tasia Maris Beach Hotel

Les and I - and a S. African waiter gave us some shots

Later that evening we went to the Roof Top Burger Bar
This was a place we always wanted to go to.

It was a bit disappointing because the sun had already set and it was only 18h30.

The meal was delicious though and Les and I shared a Mexican burger with sweet potato chips.

Jack ordered three mini-sliders - only managed two

It was a lovely evening and we left earlyish as we were all pretty exhausted. Quite a day having travelled one and a half hours to get there.

So, that was day one and what a day it was.

It was a real treat to be away for a weekend celebration. I am very grateful to my children for including me.

Tomorrow I will share day 2 with you. Pretty tired now and ready for a good nights sleep
