In recent days a large number of countries were celebrating the triumph of their athletes in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Also in Venezuela we were delighted thanks to the wonderful participation of our representatives in that occasion, where in addition to four medals, six Olympic diplomas were won.
Although in other latitudes this amount may seem small, for Venezuela it has meant a breakthrough, because for decades our country was completely invisible in these sporting events.
But beyond the meaning as a country, the joy that one gets from seeing our flag, our patriotic colors shining in this kind of events, the individual merit is something to highlight and that is the reason why today I have decided to touch this topic in this #HPUD post.
Yulimar Rojas, in addition to having won gold in the triple jump, set an Olympic and world record with 15.67 meters. She, as well as Daniel Dhers (Cycling), Keydomar Vallenilla and Julio Mayora in Weightlifting, with their silver medals and the six diploma holders: Antonio Díaz, Claudymar Garcés, Anriquelis Barrios, Yusleidy Figueroa, Naryury Pérez and the beautiful Robeilys Peinado, are just an example of dedication and passion.
But I mention today these Venezuelan athletes to take the opportunity to celebrate them publicly, but it is a merit that all athletes in the world have: perseverance and tenacity.
It seems appropriate to point out these two qualities on a day like today that takes place the #HPUD, driven by @traciyork and @victoriabsb and also with the support of @hivebuzz and @arcange, because this is also an opportunity to apply them in our development in other aspects of life, such as our growth in Hive.
The same principles that can lead you to become an Olympic champion, can make you grow in any field.
So let's follow the example of champions!
En días pasados un gran número de países se encontraban celebrando el triunfo de sus atletas en los Juegos Olímpicos Tokio 2020. También en Venezuela estuvimos de fiesta gracias a la maravillosa participación que tuvieron nuestros representantes ante esa jornada, donde además de cuatro medallas se cosecharon seis diplomas olímpicos.
Aunque en otras latitudes esta cantidad puede parecer pequeña, para Venezuela ha significado un gran avance, pues durante décadas nuestro país era completamente invisible en estos eventos deportivos.
Pero más allá del significado como país, de la alegría que a uno le produce ver su bandera, sus colores patrios reluciendo en este tipo de eventos, el mérito individual es algo que destacar y es la razón por la cual hoy he decidido tocar este punto en este post del #HPUD.
Yulimar Rojas, además de haber obtenido Oro en triple salto, marcó recórd olímpico y mundial con 15,67 metros logrados. Ella, al igual que Daniel Dhers (Ciclismo), Keydomar Vallenilla y Julio Mayora en Halterofilia, con sus medallas de plata y los seis diplomados: Antonio Díaz, Claudymar Garcés, Anriquelis Barrios, Yusleidy Figueroa, Naryury Pérez y la bella Robeilys Peinado, son solo un ejemplo de entrega y pasión.
Pero yo menciono hoy a estos atletas venezolanos para aprovechar la oportunidad de celebrarlos públicamente, pero es un mérito que tienen todos los atletas del mundo: la constancia y tenacidad.
Me parece oportuno señalar esas dos cualidades en un día como hoy que se lleva a cabo el #HPUD, impulsado por @traciyork y @victoriabsb y además con el respaldo de @hivebuzz y @arcange, porque esta una oportunidad también de aplicarlas en nuestro desarrollo en otros aspectos de la vida, como lo puede ser nuestro crecimiento en Hive.
Los mismos principios que te pueden llevar a convertirte en campeón olímpico, pueden hacerte crecer el cualquier campo.
¡Así que sigamos el ejemplo de los campeones!

It happened again that it was not activated so that 100% of the post went to Hive Power. There was a glitch in Leofinance.io and every time I tried to post I got an error. When it was finally published the option was not active, so (as I did on a previous occasion) when payout is made for this post, I will allocate the full rewards to Power Up, to complete the #hpud.
