If you haven´t noticed yourself yet, let me tell you this exciting news that the current interest rate of the HBD savings here on Hive is as high as 10% APR (thank you witnesses!), which is a very decent APR even in the crypto world, let alone the fiat world.

It´s also important to mention that the HBD has lately been much more stable than it was before (thank you witnesses again! :D) as it now mostly hovers in the coveted $0.90 to $1.10 range.

In other words, it looks like we finally have a strong and reliable stablecoin here on our blockchain and investing in that stablecoin can generate some very interesting passive income at the current interest rate of 10% APR. Even if the witnesses lower the rate to somewhere between 7% and 8% where it was until recently, it will still be a great DeFi option for anyone who is fed up with what the banks offer on their traditional saving accounts (in most cases, their APR % is actually even lower than the inflation).
I don´t know how things will pan out in the long term but right now, just looking at the numbers, it really feels like Hive has stepped into the DeFi arena and I think it also gives us a lot of new possibilities to promote our blockchain and our community. I will certainly suggest buying some HBD to my friends who are into investment and/or passive income.

Vím, že ne všichni zde sledují novinky na poli svědeckém, tak si dovolím vypíchnout ty nejzajímavější z poslední doby. Jsou dvě a obě se týkají našeho stablecoinu HBD.
První dobrá zpráva je ta, že HBD je konečně (díky snaze a umu našich drahých svědků) mnohem stabilnější než dřív a opravdu se teď prakticky neustále drží kolem kýžené ceny 1 dolaru.
Druhou slibnou novinkou je pak skutečnost, že aktuální úroková sazba u HBD savings činí 10% APR, což je velmi atraktivní hodnota (jistě víte, kolik nabízejí u spořících účtů např. české banky).
Sečteno a podtrženo - Hive se těmito kroky neohroženě pustil do světa DeFi (decentralizovaných financí), tak doufejme, že se mu v něm bude dařit. Zároveň nám to přináší nové možnosti a způsoby, jak Hive propagovat na veřejnosti. I těm, kteří se jinak ke kryptoměnám staví ještě pořád skepticky, by jistě nevadilo, kdyby se jim vklady samy úročily 10% ročně, že ;)
