Salvadorans, give Bitcoin a chance!

Today begins the path of Bitcoin as a legal currency in El Salvador and the expectations both in the country and in the world are as immense as the hope for a better world through cryptocurrencies. However, a large segment of the population of that Central American country observes with suspicion this proposal emerged by decree from the government led by the controversial president of that nation Nayib Bukele.

Salvadoran friends, I fully understand your distrust regarding the BTC, in the sense that being an imposition coming from a ruler who clearly exercises his functions in a dictatorial manner, disregarding the separation of powers and all the patterns that a democratic system dictates, it is not easy to accompany with faith an action that arises in a compulsory manner. On the other hand, the central power creates a wallet whose keys are held by those who created that application (the Salvadoran government), on the one hand distorting the meaning of the usefulness of cryptocurrencies and on the other assuming total control of the funds that can be generated in them.

But despite the trap the same government was in charge of opening Pandora's box, so it is necessary to tell Salvadoran friends that it is not necessary to assume the government wallet, even though it comes with a gift of $ 30 in BTC, you can use the medium of your choice to save your BTC, the important thing is to know that if you keep under your possession the keys your cryptos will always be under your custody and not with the surveillance of your government.

Friends from El Salvador, I understand the fear of encountering a new and disruptive technology such as the blockchain where the BTC and most cryptocurrencies are based, on the other hand it is not wise to acquire a Smart Phone and make use of a deficient and expensive internet service, considering also that the Salvadoran government as the main promoter of the presence of this digital currency in the economy of this country has done little or nothing to familiarize the people with this type of money.

Ladies and gentlemen Salvadorans, before criticizing and protesting the official presence of BTC as a legal currency in your country, understand that if you dedicate a little time to understand its use and meaning you will know its true importance, especially before the debacle of the dollar and the fiat system it will be necessary to shelter our money so that it does not disappear in the infinite emission of bills proposed by the FED and the central banks of the world.

I also understand that remittances from the United States are an important part of the economy of El Salvador (approximately 60% of its GDP), so the cost of sending money from abroad to that country would be considerably reduced if this is done with BTC or other cryptocurrencies, beyond the commissions for use of the network this is infinitely smaller than those charged by fiat money sending houses, this is important because relatives in the USA or another country will see how the return on their work becomes more noticeable when they do not have to pay large sums to send the livelihood of their loved ones.

Salvadoran friends, by giving BTC a chance you are giving yourself a chance to live by your own rules and not obeying an economic pattern designed by the elites to live off your work. With a little study a door opens to enter a new world where you are the director of your own economic destiny.
