These past two months have been a nightmare for cryptocurrency holders. Many of us have lost money. Certainly, our cryptocurrencies have lost much of their value in the market.
But we need not fear. We have the power when it comes to cryptocurrencies. That's part of the beauty of it.
We don't care what a politician, especially a totalitarian one, has to say about our tokens. We don't care how many "economists" come in and say this is worthless or not real. It is because of them that this market exists in the first place.
We can trust ourselves, not them. And we have done something huge. We are making blockchains and tokens for every possible need. And we're doing it very well. It's not the first time we've faced negative numbers with our cryptocurrencies, and it certainly won't be the last, but if we stand on our own two feet, we can always win.
Cryptocurrencies are not just about making money. We are gaining independence, freedom, security and the future itself. This is a dream for many, and it is one come true.
Many people who know nothing about investments and cryptocurrencies bought BTC last year because its price was rising dramatically, and even it got to around 60K at a historic moment. We are very proud of what we have done, but it is not enough.
Over the past few days, some of the most well-known crypto-enthusiasts started a trend to show their commitment to BTC.
The fun initiative aims to give BTC a boost with the power of lasers. With the hashtags #laserrayuntil100k and #lasereyesuntil100k, many of us have started to show our faith in BTC and the cryptomarket.
Can we reach that figure? I firmly believe we can, and in this scenario in the late stages of a pandemic, I have reason to believe that BTC will be in a good one due to its very limited supply. Apparently, some still believe that inflation is a good way to stabilize markets rather than a hidden tax?
However
BTC is important to the cryptocurrency market for many reasons, but there are many cryptocurrencies out there with a lot of potential. It's no secret that if BTC is having a bad time, the entire cryptocurrency market is having a bad time.
This is starting to pose a big problem, especially when some people are concerned about the damage that large scale mining can do to our environment. From BTC in particular.
I'm pretty sure the BTC community can find a way to make BTC more energy efficient, but while we wait until they come up with a solution, some cryptocurrencies have already solved the problem.
Until then, I think Hive is a great option not only for crypto-enthusiasts, but for content creators of all kinds.
