A quick look at the market vouchers and packs

Ok so for those who don't know vouchers got released recently for the new spliterlands Chaos Leauge packs and the market is going crazy.

Before I dive in to deep a quick summary. Vouchers allow you to buy a CL pack, how you still need to pay $4 for the pack so in a normal world packs would cost voucher + $4

However when you buy packs of spliterlands you get a chance for a promo card airdrop, so people are buying packs and reselling on the second hand market to get airdrop chances.

very important note for everyone out there packs bought of the second hand market don't count for airdrop card chances

So alot of people are selling cards packs at below the cost of the vouchers but above the cost of packs $4, hoping the promo card is worth it.

This means we have to markets, the voucher market and the CL pack market. At the moment the difference between a voucher and a CL pack is $7 which means these people hoping for a promo a willing to lose $7 per airdrop chance, which should mean as CL card price drops voucher prices drop to as people are less willing to pay $8, $9 or $20. Eventually we should see packs at less then $3.60

Ok first let's look at vouchers

Ok so we can see the price is moving down but with some big fluctuations as the market buys up and down however the swings are lowering. I have also noticed the difference in buy and sell and shrunk

Ok we can also see alot of confidence in $10, which could be due to the fact that the CL pack price is currently above it or people think up to $10 a card airdrop is worth it

Ok now CL packs, which again carry no value compared to buying them later on at $4 with no voucher, no airdrop points nothing

Again we can see wide swings but it is dropping, again trending at about $3 less then vouchers which is that $7 cost when you include a pack

Here is whre things get interesting , wow that buy wall is alot weaker. We can see people are alot less ready to buy expensive packs are mostly looking for bargins

So what does this mean? Well I always predict things the wrong way but it looks to me like those wiling to buy second hand packs are drying up or wising up and I can see the CL pack dropping to less then $4, most likely $4 at worst, given cost to get airdrop has stayed at around $7 with packs, vouchers could drop to $3 range. Then again at $3 alot more people may dive in, so who really know
