During excursions, you have come across the fact that you cannot get to some parts of the museums due to the fact that restoration or repair work is underway there?
This happened to me and, as a rule, I had high hopes that I would see the exhibits from those closed rooms of the museum.
These closed rooms, for me, are three of the eight postage stamps from Series Protected Animals, issued on the island of Cuba in 1984.
Yes, in my collection there are only five postage stamps and eight and today, we will see the fifth postage stamp, in denomination of 5 Cuban centavos, on which the smallest bird of our planet - Bee Hummingbird (Mellisuga helenae).
It is believed that the hummingbird-bee lives only on the island of Cuba in wooded areas. I do not know if these birds will have enough strength to overcome the distance to the neighboring islands of the Caribbean archipelago when the last tree in Cuba is cut down. This species became endangered, precisely because the forests were mercilessly cut down.
