Many in the LeoFinance community have participated in the Thorchain ecosystem one way or another. There are a number of exciting things happening over in that project that carry over to the things being discussed, invested in and developed here on Leo.
I saw some people in the Leo discord talking about XRUNE and how they planned to participate in the launch. I also was able to throw some free RUNE into the XRUNE pool to see where it would lead us.
As a trader, I look for market opportunities. When new things arise, there is a gap in efficiency.
Sometimes, this gap is to see the price get lower as market dynamics take hold and people realize that the thing being invested in is overvalued.
Other times, this gap is to the upside. The market realizes that something is undervalued and people pile money in and skyrocket the valuation of the underlying.
XRUNE started at $0.01 and is now trading at $0.18.
The Future of Launches
Launching IPOs, ICOs and now IDOs are the future of "venture investing". This space is interesting and I think many people are excited about a future where you can be an early stage startup investor with only a few hundred dollars.
Gone are the days where you need to be accredited and know the right people to invest in startups.
Now we see a new land of opportunities to invest in startups via crypto. I think Thorchain is positioning itself to handle a wide array of launches like this. XRUNE is the first of many to come!
