Focus is an American crime/comedy-drama film where the con-man Nick (played by Will Smith) meets a very charming novice thief named Jess (played by Margot Robbie.) She approaches him with the intention of conning him through seduction, the plan fails completely (as expected he is quite an expert) Nick is not offended at all, on the contrary, he bothers to give her advice and he even shows interest in her, and asks her to stay for a few drinks.

Focus es una película americana de crimen y comedia-drama donde el estafador Nick (interpretado por Will Smith) conoce a una ladrona novata muy encantadora llamada Jess (interpretada por Margot Robbie), esta se acerca a él con la intencion de timarlo mediante la seducción, el plan falla por completo (pues él es todo un experto) Nick no se ofende para nada, al contrario, se molesta en darle consejos y hasta muestra interés en ella y le pide que se quede por unos tragos.

They meet again a few days later in another bar, they chat and it becomes clear that he is a professional con-man, she is fascinated and begs him to take her as his apprentice, he refuses at first but she manages to convince him. He introduces her part of his crew and puts her to the test as a pickpocket.

Se encuentran días después en otro bar, charlan y queda claro que él es un estafador profesional, ella queda fascinada y le ruega para que la tome como su aprendiz, logra convencerlo. Le presenta a parte de su equipo y la pone a prueba como carterista.

After proving their worthiness, the two of them become romantically involved, something that bothers Nick, as he had learned from his father that it was not good to relate in that way with colleagues. After a short time of working and being together he suddenly cuts off the relationship, Jess is heartbroken and is forced to leave.

Luego de probar su valía ambos se involucran románticamente, cosa que molesta a Nick, pues había aprendido de su padre que no era bueno relacionarse de esa manera con los colegas. Después de un corto tiempo de trabajar y estar juntos repentinamente corta con la relación, Jess queda con el corazón roto y se ve obligada a marcharse.

They reunite a few years later in Argentina. Nick went to Buenos Aires in order to do a job, posing as a technician to con the billionaire owner of a motorsport team who happens to be Jess' new boyfriend. He finds out about it at a party to which he was invited by the guy he was trying to swindle, Nick and Jess end up talking alone and from that moment on he can't stop thinking about her.

Se reencuentran unos pocos años después en Argentina. Nick fue a Buenos Aires con el fin de hacer un trabajo, se haría pasar por un técnico para estafar al dueño de un equipo de automóviles de carreras que resulta ser el nuevo novio de Jess. Se entera de ello en una fiesta a la que fue invitado por el sujeto que pretendía estafar, ellos terminan hablando a solas y desde ese momento no deja de pensar en ella.

After several failed attempts he wins her back, and they get back on track with the intention of doing the job together. I found this movie fascinating, the actors are top notch and the plot is excellent, you will constantly be surprised by how elaborate some of the scams are.

Después de varios intentos fallidos la reconquista, y vuelven a las andadas con la intención de hacer el trabajo juntos. Encontré esta película fascinante, los actores de son de primera y la trama es excelente, constantemente serás sorprendido por lo elaboradas que resultan algunas de las estafas que comenten.

You must be very attentive all the time to not miss anything, the movie requires it and I am pretty sure that more than once you will be on the edge of your seat.

Debes estar muy atento en todo momento para no perderte de nada, la película lo requiere y estoy seguro de que más de una vez estarás al filo del sillón.
