Greetings hive friends, I hope you are having an excellent week and if you are not having it, well I hope you have it haha, this time I come to give you one of the recommendations that I make from time to time about movies, I do not do them at all moment because I do not always come across a good movie and normally I don't spend a lot of time watching movies or series, however I think this is a good opportunity to recommend this movie to you since for me it was totally unexpected that it turned out to be so good and I speak seriously haha.
Saludos amigos de hive, espero que estén teniendo una excelente semana y si no la están teniendo, pues espero que la tengan jaja, en esta ocasión vengo a darle una de las recomendaciones que hago de vez en cuando sobre películas, no las hago en todo momento debido a que no siempre me topo con una buena película y normalemente no gasto mucho tiempo viendo películas o series, sin embargo creo que esta es una buena oportunidad para recomendarles esta película ya que para mí fue totalmente inesparado que resultara ser tan buena y hablo en serio jaja.

Sí, debo decir que sí tiene algo de parecido con la película de “El Diablo Viste a la Moda” del año 2006, sin embargo no es la única película a la que quizás tiene algún parecido, algunas mencionan que tiene cierto toque de “Joker”, un guiño hacia el personaje de Harley Quinn y que no es más que otra forma en la que Disney trata de romantizar a sus villanos, como si quisieran decir “oye, no es un chico/chica malo/mala, sólo era un/una incomprendido/incomprendida” o algo así, además de que en parte también intentan romantizar la locura a través del personaje, buscando un justificativo para esto, pero a mi parecer es mucho más que eso y a pesar de tener varios clichés, exageraciones y una que otra referencia (quizás no tan obvia) a otras películas, en realidad no deja de ser una película divertida, family friendly en la cual estarías malgastando bien tu tiempo.
Quiero aclarar que no soy un fanático de las películas de Disney (con excepción del MCU) y mucho menos de estos últimos live action que han venido lanzando desde hace unos años, la verdad es que la mayoría me parecieron más un desastre que algo verdaderamente bueno, obviamente no todos hanm sido un desastre, por ejmplo, aunque no del todo, Aladdin me pareció muy buena y con esto de la ola de inclusión étnica que se está viendo desde hace unos años, acá pasa totalmente desapercibida, aunque igual no entiendo por qué la gente se queja aún cuando la trama principal es fiel a la original y hasta mejor, pero eso ya es punto y aparte, hablemos un poco de Cruella sin spoilear tanto.

Despite having certain inconsistencies with reality, let's not forget that we are dealing with a movie that tries to be the prequel to a story and that incidentally tries to tell the origins of a villain whose personality is not normal at all, in fact, I must to say that I find some sympathy in these logical incongruities and exaggerations within the film, in itself it is not as if they were impossible to do and here is a small part of what is entertaining, it is one of the things that the film allows does not have plot, chronological incongruities or that break too much with the logic already established, in fact, I must add that even the twists that the story gives already makes it seem something of a Mexican tenenovela, cliché, perhaps predictable, but funny at the same time (at the same time less from my point of view), maybe they only try to get us to understand the character through so much irony, although some point out this as a poor script.
Tomemos a “El Diablo Viste a la Moda”, hagámosla a la “Joker” con salsa de “Ocean’s Eleven”, más una pizca de “Harley Quinn” y Voilá, tenemos esta película llamda Cruella, protagonizada Emma Stone, la cual sí supo lucir su papel a pesar de tener un guión un poco pobre a decir verdad, luego tenemos a Emma Thompson que hizo un gran trabajo haciendo las veces de Miranda Priestly, la verdad es que interpretando al personaje deja su marca, de resto tenemos perros en CGI que la verdad resulta un poco incómodo verlos, pero también tenemos a perros reales que al salir en escena más bien resulta muy simpático verlos, por último a los ayudantes de Cruella que pasan de ser en la versiones anteriores algo demás parecido a “los bandidos mojados” a los “Ocean’s Eleven” pero en versión cómica, aunque uno de ellos más cómico que el otro.
A pesar de tener ciertas incogruencias con la realidad, no olvidemos que estmos tratando con una película que intenta ser la precuela de un cuento y que de paso trata de contar los orígenes de un villano cuya personalidad no es para nada normal, de hecho, debo decir que encuentro cierta simpatía en estas incongruencias lógicas y exageraciones dentro de la película, de por sí no es como si se trataran de cosas imposibles de realizar y acá se encuentra una pequeña parte de lo entretenido, es de las cosas que permite que la película no tenga incongruencias argumentales, cronológicas o que rompan demasiado con la lógica ya prestablecida, de hecho, debo agregar que incluso los giros que da la historia ya hace que parezca cosa de tenenovela mexicana, cliché, quizás predecible, pero gracioso a la vez (al menos desde mi punto de vista), talvez sólo intentan que nos entendamos con el personaje a través de tanta ironía, aunque algunos señalan esto como un guión pobre.

Really, from this point of view it turns out to be a tremendous work of art as far as fashion is concerned, of course, I do not know much about fashion and costumes, but on more than one occasion, I could not help feeling a certain appreciation of these outfits that really seemed very cool to me and even in one of the scenes I couldn't help but release a slight “wow” feeling a bit impressed when a certain wardrobe appeared on the scene, but of course, after all I still don't understand certain topics about fashion, It's not like we're talking about a fashion documentary either haha.
Finally, I must add that the musical arrangement is quite good, although I had the feeling that they abused a bit, since technically they used a lot of songs that were already well-known, but that mostly were according to the time, you will recognize several of these themes and if you don't recognize them, I know that at least one or the other will end up liking you and maybe you'll end up looking for it to add it to your playlist.
Pero dejando de lado las exageraciones, los clichés y las referencias, una de las cosas en la que más destaca esta película es la moda y los vestuarios, claro es obvio, después de todo se está tatrando de contar el origen de un villano que se supone es una especie de ícono de la moda, así que este elemento no podía faltar, pero no estamos hablando de simples atuendos extravagantes hechos por aficionados, estamos hablando de prendas y accesorios que casi cualquier persona sin conocimiento previo acerca de la moda podría decir algo como “wuao, que expectacular vestimenta”, estamos hablando de atuendos diseñados por Jenny Beavan, si no la conoces piensa un poco en “Mad Max”, “Sherlock Holmes” o “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms”.
De verdad que desde este punto de vista resulta ser una tremenda obra de arte en lo que a moda se refiere por supuesto, yo que de por sí no conozco mucho de moda y vestuarios en más de una ocasión no pude evitar sentir cierto aprecio a estos atuendos que de verdad me parecieron muy geniales e incluso en una de las escenas no pude evitar soltar un ligero “wow” sintiéndome un poco impresionado al aparecer en escena cierto vestuario, pero claro, después de todo sigo sin entender ciertos tópicos acerca de moda, tampoco es que estemos hablando de un documental sobre moda jaja.
Por último debo agregar que el arreglo musical es bastante bueno, aunque me quedó la sensación de que abusaron un poco, ya que técnicamente se valieron mucho de temas ya muy sonados, pero que en su mayoría estuviesen acorde a la época, reconocerás varios de estos temas y de no reconocerlos, sé que al menos uno que otro te terminará agradando y talves lo termines buscando para agregarlo a tu playlist.

Y bueno amigos, este ha sido todo el post en esta ocasión, corto para no profundizar mucho y evitar la mayoría de los spoilers, yo en lo personal no esperaba mucho de esta película, debido a que no le tengo mucho cariño a la mayoría de los live action de Disney, de hecho, intentar verla fue más bien un simple intento por buscar algo que ver para entretenerme y me terminó sorprendiéndo lo mucho que me gustó, aún y cuando parece más bien un reboot, igual termina siendo definitivamente uno de los mejores live action de Disney, así que si tienes tiempo libre y quieres disrutar de una película que al menos.
