Hi Hive readers! I've been tagged in a new initiative that I couldn't pass up because it's a perfect excuse to talk about characters that I love, this time I'll talk about three LGTBIQ characters that are my favorites. One Piece se convirtió en mi anime favorito, y como yo no mencionara, aunque sea uno de estos personajes tan icónicos para mí, me iba a castigar Zeus.
Sí, ya sé, su cara espanta y tal vez sea el personaje más feo que veas en tu vida, si es que no has visto One Piece, de lo contrario sabrás que en ese anime hay personajes menos agraciados, creo que allí se encuentran los más feos.

Bon Clay es un okama, en japonés es un término que se utiliza para nombrar a los hombres travesti. Bon Clay no teme demostrar quién es desde un inicio, y nadie lo juzga por ello. Usa atuendos excéntricos y aunque al principio es más molesto que la indigestión, Bon Clay logró ganarse el corazón de los fans de One Piece, su carisma y sobre todo su significado de “amistad” se ganó el amor de los fans y de quienes lo rodean en el mundo de One Piece.
Mi apreciado Bon nos dejó con una de las mejores frases de amistad: “La flor de la amistad florece incluso en el infierno y deja un pétalo como un recuerdo sobre la arena por la que transitan las horas… ¡Algún día la haremos florecer de nuevo!
Cuando a Bon Clay le preguntaron si se arrepentía de algo, con firmeza respondió ¡No me arrepiento de nada! La forma en que lo dijo y la valentía que tuvo al decirlo sin importar quién lo escuchara, hizo que Bon clay se ganara mi corazón, demostró ser un buen amigo, dispuesto a dar la vida si se requería, además de que nos ha sacado las mejores risas. No existe escena en donde este personaje no aparezca y no nos haga reír.
Bon Clay is an okama, in Japanese it is a term used to name transvestite men. Bon Clay is not afraid to show who he is from the start, and no one judges him for it. He wears eccentric outfits and although he is more annoying than indigestion at first, Bon Clay managed to win the hearts of One Piece fans, his charisma and above all his meaning of "friendship" won the love of fans and those around him in the One Piece world.
My dear Bon left us with one of the best phrases of friendship: "The flower of friendship blooms even in hell and leaves a petal as a souvenir on the sand where the hours pass... Someday we will make it bloom again!
When Bon Clay was asked if he had any regrets, he firmly replied I have no regrets! The way he said it and the courage he had in saying it no matter who was listening, made Bon Clay win my heart, he proved to be a good friend, willing to give his life if needed, plus he has brought out the best laughs. There is no scene where this character does not appear and does not make us laugh.
Vamos a ignorar cómo terminó la serie y vamos a halagar todo aquello que la convirtió en mi serie favorita, aunque ahora no lleva el primer lugar, seguirá en mi corazón por la eternidad, como la serie que me hizo apreciar más el arte cinematográfico y las actuaciones; y a partir de estas series, me adentré a ver otras.
De las cosas que más amé en Juego de tronos, fueron sus personajes, y Oberyn Martell fue de mis favoritos. Fue allí, que por primera vez conocí a mi amado actor, Pedro Pascal, o como suelo decirle…Pedrito. Oberyn es un personaje Bisexual, que incluso está casado, y su esposa es totalmente abierta, lo cual al inicio me pareció raro, pero a Oberyn le encaja a la perfección esa alma libre, es un hombre enérgico, y muy ingenioso. Aunque su orientación sexual influye en su personalidad, está muy bien lograda la implementación de la misma. Hoy en día es común un personaje LGTBIQ, pero muchos son metidos forzosamente solo para quedar bien con el público. No tengo nada en contra de que creen un personaje así, pero no me gusta que su único propósito sea ser el chiste, que tenga una personalidad plana y solo esté allí para decir que es gay y que se vea como algo “anormal” o “único”
Let's ignore how the series ended and let's praise everything that made it my favorite series, although now it doesn't take the first place, it will remain in my heart for eternity, as the series that made me appreciate more the cinematographic art and the performances; and from these series, I got into watching others.
Of the things I loved most in Game of Thrones, were its characters, and Oberyn Martell was one of my favorites. It was there, that for the first time I met my beloved actor, Pedro Pascal, or as I usually call him...Pedrito. Oberyn is a Bisexual character, who is even married, and his wife is totally open, which at the beginning seemed strange to me, but Oberyn fits that free soul perfectly, he is an energetic man, and very witty. Although his sexual orientation influences his personality, its implementation is very well achieved. Nowadays an LGTBIQ character is common, but many are forced in just to look good to the audience. I have nothing against them creating such a character, but I don't like that his only purpose is to be the joke, that he has a flat personality and is only there to say he's gay and be seen as "abnormal" or "unique."
Oberyn es ese personaje que pone en alto el nombre de la comunidad, su personalidad y su actuación surgen de forma natural y claro, y si llama la atención no es por el hecho de que sea bisexual, claro que eso influye, pero, recalco, es de forma natural. Oberyn es un guerrero que no está dispuesto a retroceder, que intimida incluso; un tanto engreído, pero eso no quita el hecho de que sea de mis favoritos. No destaca simplemente por su abierta orientación sexual, es un personaje con fundamento y objetivos profundos. En un mundo con más personajes así.
Oberyn is that character that puts the name of the community high, his personality and his performance come naturally and of course, and if he draws attention is not because he is bisexual, of course that influences, but, I emphasize, it is naturally. Mi dulce Dani no solo es encantadora con cara de amargada, sino que también tiene una de las historias de amor que más me ha conmovido. Y como no puedo dejar afuera a Jamie, pues voy a mencionar a las dos ¡Premio doble!
La maldición de Bly Manor es una serie de suspenso, misterio, y terror. Tal vez no es el mejor terror y no te hará ensuciarte en los pantalones, pero el misterio te envuelve y te hace querer quedarte porque ¿Quién es el bueno o el malo? ¿Hay buenos y malos?
My sweet Dani is not only charming with a sour face, but she also has one of the love stories that has touched me the most. And since I can't leave Jamie out, I'm going to mention both of them...double award!
The Curse of Bly Manor is a series of suspense, mystery, and horror. Maybe it's not the best horror and it won't make you soil your pants, but the mystery envelops you and makes you want to stay because who is the good guy or the bad guy? Are there good guys and bad guys?
La protagonista, Dani, huyendo de un pasado que quiere olvidar se adentra en un nuevo país, un nuevo trabajo, pero nunca se imaginó las calamidades que adentro de esa mansión le esperaban en bandeja.
Dani es una mujer que, aunque tenga la muerte en frente de su rostro ¡Actúa! O como dicen, entra en acción, y aunque todos sabemos que se está muriendo del miedo, tiene la valentía para ponerse en pie y dar pelea. Sin duda, es lo que más admiro de ella, su determinación y valentía, quisiera poder tenerlas también.
Y luego está Jamie, quien llegó en el momento perfecto. Jamie no vino a ser dolor en su vida, o por lo menos, no llegó a poner más carga sobre ella, llegó a aliviarla, llegó a amarla con cada una de sus heridas. Fue la calma en la tempestad y es por eso que no podía dejarla afuera, amé al personaje de Jamie por todo lo que hizo por la mujer que ama.

Dani is a woman who, even when death is staring her in the face, takes action! And then there is Jamie, who came at the perfect time. She was the calm in the storm and that's why I couldn't leave her out, I loved Jamie's character for everything she did for the woman she loves.
Esta serie no es para todos, mientras unos la aman, otros la detestan, pero no hay ningún problema con eso, todos podemos ser libres de decidir lo que nos gusta y los que no, siempre y cuando exista el respeto.
Terminaré mi participación orgullosa de esta pareja, porque me hicieron reír como boba, me hicieron apreciarlas en todos sus ángulos y es una muestra de un amor tan genuino y puro. Puede que suene cursi, pero es una muestra del amor verdadero en todas sus facetas.
This series is not for everyone, while some love it, others hate it, but there is no problem with that, we can all be free to decide what we like and what we don't like, as long as there is respect.
I will end my participation proud of this couple, because they made me laugh like a fool, they made me appreciate them in all their angles and it is a sign of such a genuine and pure love. It may sound corny, but it is a sample of true love in all its facets.

Y estoy segura que todos aquí hemos cometido tales acciones, así que ¿Quiénes somos nosotros para juzgar el amor genuino de otra persona? ¡Nadie! Ama y deja amar a los demás.
So much for my participation, I have enjoyed doing this and I am excited to think of all that I will do in the future. Remember that no matter who you love, no matter your sexual orientation, the only thing there should be is mutual respect and consent. I know this is a touchy subject because of all the religious world around us, but, God forbids fornication and lying. And I'm sure all of us here have committed such actions, so who are we to judge another person's genuine love, no one! Love and let others love.
