Los hermanos Templeton vuelven en esta segundo entrega de un jefe en pañales, pero esta vez ambos ya son adultos, Tim ya tiene una familia con dos hijas pequeñas y se encarga de quedarse en casa para cuidarlas, mientras que Thedore (Jefe Bebé), es un importante hombre de negocios, tiene muchos millones en su cuenta, pero tiene una vida un poco solitaria. Con los años ambos se han separado, hasta que una nueva crisis hace que tengan que volver a trabajar juntos.
The Templeton brothers return in this second installment of a boss in diapers, but this time they are both adults, Tim already has a family with two young daughters and is responsible for staying home to take care of them, while Thedore (Baby Boss), is An important businessman, he has many millions in his account, but he has a somewhat lonely life. Over the years both have separated, until a new crisis makes them have to work together again.
Pero lograr esto no será nada fácil, ya que Tim no tiene la mejor de la relaciones con su hermano, por lo que Tina, su hija menor y que resulta ser también una Jefe Bebé, logra reunirnos con algunos engaños. Thedore no recuerdaba nada de su pasado como bebé, por lo que al recordarlo todo, vuelve a ser un infante y acepta está nueva misión, junto a Tim, que tampoco quiere quedarse de brazos cruzados.
But achieving this will not be easy at all, since Tim does not have the best of relationships with his brother, so Tina, his youngest daughter and who also happens to be a Baby Boss, manages to reunite us with some deceptions. Está segunda entrega es aún más desquiciada y loca que la primera, pero pensando en que está hecha para el público infantil, no es descabellado pensar que la disfrutarán y se asombrarán ante tantas cosas que pasan al mismo tiempo. También me parece más escandalosa y con menos creatividad que la primera, pero no por eso me desagrado.
This second installment is even more unhinged and crazy than the first, but considering that it is made for children, it is not unreasonable to think that they will enjoy it and be amazed at so many things that happen at the same time. I also find it more scandalous and less creative than the first one, but that's not why I dislike it.
La historia también resulta muy sencilla, ya que deben superar sus diferencias nuevamente para salvar el mundo, pero en contraste con la primera, el desarrollo de los personajes es muy convencional y predecible, al igual que el desarrollo como tal de la historia. Aunque tampoco puede negar que me gustaron personajes nuevos como los ninjas bebés, precious, el bebé amante de la goma o la bebé que da miedo, está sobre todo rompe con esto que digo.
The story is also very simple, as they must overcome their differences again to save the world, but in contrast to the first, the development of the characters is very conventional and predictable, as is the development of the story as such. En cuanto a los actores, la versión en español es no le llega ni a los talones a su versión original, Alec Baldwin vuelve a ser un trabajo sensacional dándole ese toque encantador y elegante al Jefe Bebé, tal cual como en la primera. Los demás también logran caracterizar de forma correcta a su personaje, Tim vuelve a ser el imaginativo de siempre, Tina le da otro enfoque totalmente diferente a que es ser una Jefe Bebé, y en cuanto al villano, fue de lo que menos me gustó.
As for the actors, the Spanish version is not even on the heels of its original version, Alec Baldwin is once again a sensational job giving that charming and elegant touch to Boss Baby, just like in the first one. The others also manage to characterize his character correctly, Tim is once again the imaginative of always, Tina gives him a totally different approach to being a Baby Boss, and as for the villain, he was the least I liked.
La animación es muy parecida a la primera, aunque extrañe mucho los momentos de imaginación de Tim, que eran más comunes en la primera. La mejor escena para mí de toda la película, o al menos la más graciosa, fue cuando Precious los lleva a la escuela, provocando un caos total en toda ciudad y provocando al menos un ataque de nervios en Tina, jajaja.
The animation is very similar to the first, although I really miss Tim's moments of imagination, which were more common in the first. The best scene for me in the whole movie, or at least the funniest one, was when Precious takes them to school, causing total chaos in the whole city and causing at least one nervous breakdown in Tina, jajaja.
En conclusión, sinceramente no me pareció tan buena como la primera, pero aún tiene mucha gracia y podría explotarse aún más. Al final de la cinta, vimos a Carol contestar a Baby Corp, y con la confirmación de la tercera entrega, lo más seguro es que ahora tengan que trabajar con la compañía pero esta vez como adultos, una idea que me parece mejor y mucho más lógica, pero bueno, aún falta mucho para saber cualquier cosa.
In conclusion, I honestly did not find it as good as the first one, but it is still very funny and could be exploited even more. At the end of the film, we saw Carol answer Baby Corp, and with the confirmation of the third installment, the most likely thing is that now they have to work with the company but this time as adults, an idea that seems better to me and much more logical, but hey, there is still a long way to go to know anything.
