A couple of weeks ago the first season of the Loki series concluded, but I continue to share some of the reflections that each episode left me, now going into the third one that I have called the scene of the dialogues.

I take this name from the fact that it focuses on two of the main characters of this series, Loki and Silvey (The female variant of Loki), as they find themselves trapped in a world submerged in an impending apocalypse: Lamentis I.

It is this time here that allows the opportunity to create these dialogues where not only do we come to a greater understanding of the characters but between the lines we can grasp themes of special importance.

Among the themes that emerge from the dialogues I share a couple:

  • Love metaphors. Little by little our characters discover each other and become honest to the point of admitting that behind their apparent coldness there is a deep feeling of loneliness.

Therefore, their definition of love, while Silvey says it is a lie, Loki says it is a dagger. Interesting facts because they teach us how our concepts of things are influenced by our experiences.

  • A reference to the LGBT community. This one occurs when Silvey asks Loki about his sexual attraction and he says he is a pansexualist. In this way, it is the first time that this sexual characteristic commonly encompassed in the LGBT community is integrated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This is an important step for the inclusion of diverse sexual tendencies in one of the most famous franchises of recent times and thus do justice to all of them equally.
