Hola amigos de Hive, hace tiempo que no veía una película de comedia, así que me dispuse a buscar una y me topé con Jefa por accidente cuyo titulo original es Second Act . Hacer reír al público no es fácil, por lo tanto considero que las películas que te hacen reír a carcajadas son una obra maestra. Lamentablemente esta película no es una de ellas, pero debo admitir que en ocasiones me hizo reír y su historia me atrapó, pues está cargada de buen drama y finalmente te deja un mensaje para la reflexión.

Este film narra la historia de Maya, una trabajadora del área de ventas de una tienda local, que a pesar de sus conocimientos y una gran cantidad de años de experiencia en la tienda es relegada y puesta por debajo de personal ineficiente por no contar con un título académico. El ahijado de Maya decide crearle un perfil falso en internet en donde destaca estudios universitarios en Harvard, y distintas aptitudes como dominio del idioma chino mandarín entre otras cosas. Posteriormente Maya es contratada por una empresa de cosméticos debido a su currículo tan prominente, y debe enfrentarse a distintas situaciones divertidas, en donde tendrá que ingeniárselas para que su mentira no sea descubierta. En la nueva empresa Maya recibe una gran sorpresa relacionada con su pasado, y poniendo todo su empeño consigue el éxito comercial, y finalmente decide revelar su gran verdad, demostrándole al mundo que no necesita un título académico para ser la mejor en su trabajo.

Los primeros 30 minutos de Jefa por accidente se desarrollan de manera lenta, por lo que el público puede impacientarse si está esperando reír con prontitud considerando que se trata de una comedia. Pero una vez que a raíz de una mentira Maya es contratada por la empresa, empiezan a suscitarse situaciones divertidas que además de hacernos reír nos provocarán tensión, ya que nos hace pensar en cómo nuestra protagonista se las arreglará para que no la descubran.

Esta película me hizo pensar en algunas personas mentirosas compulsivas que he conocido en mi vida, y me pregunto si esas personas sienten algún tipo de ansiedad cuando sus mentiras están por verse descubiertas, ha de ser muy complejo sostener mentiras durante tanto tiempo sin delatarse por error, aunque finalmente se terminan descubriendo.

Jefa por accidente nos deja dos mensajes muy importantes, uno que tus capacidades no necesariamente se miden por un título académico y que los méritos se consiguen con acciones, demostrando cuan bueno eres en lo que haces y lo que eres capaz de hacer. Sin embargo, debo resaltar que un título académico también se consigue con mucho esfuerzo, sacrificios, dinero y tiempo invertido, y tenerlo también es un gran mérito y debe ser reconocido, abriéndote mucho más las puertas en el mundo laboral, no se deben confundir las cosas, la educación nos llevará a una mejor sociedad en todos los aspectos.

Por otro lado, este film nos deja la reflexión de que ninguna relación basada en mentiras es capaz de sostenerse, debes ser honesto con tu pareja, tus amigos y familiares, y en tu entorno laboral. Siempre debes ser tú mismo, jamás aparentar lo que no eres para agradar o conseguir algo, y si no te crees los suficientemente bueno para conseguirlo debes trabajar en ti mismo.

Making an audience laugh is not easy, so I consider movies that make you laugh out loud a masterpiece. The first 30 minutes of Second Act unfolds slowly, so the audience may get impatient if they are expecting to laugh promptly considering this is a comedy. But once Maya is hired by the company as a result of a lie, funny situations start to arise that not only make us laugh but also provoke tension, since it makes us think about how our protagonist will manage not to be discovered.

This movie made me think about some compulsive liars I have met in my life, and I wonder if those people feel some kind of anxiety when their lies are about to be discovered, it must be very complex to sustain lies for so long without giving themselves away by mistake, although they are finally discovered.

Second Act leaves us with two very important messages, one that your capabilities are not necessarily measured by an academic degree and that merits are achieved with actions, demonstrating how good you are at what you do and what you are capable of doing. However, I must emphasize that an academic degree is also achieved with a lot of effort, sacrifices, money and time invested, and having it is also a great merit and should be recognized, opening much more doors in the world of work, do not confuse things, education will lead to a better society in all aspects.

On the other hand, this film leaves us with the reflection that no relationship based on lies is capable of sustaining itself, you must be honest with your partner, your friends and family, and in your work environment. You should always be yourself, never pretend what you are not to please or get something, and if you do not think you are good enough to get it you should work on yourself.
